Works great the extra storage is amazing I havnt had to delete a game since installing and have added plenty of games I wouldn't have before because I'd be worried about storage space. The device itself is easy to use and thin enough I keep it right intop of the Playstation. It also as somesorta storage protection as it will 'repair' itself when power goes out unexpected. Would recommend it's been amazing definitely worth the cost.

I did a lot of research before I bought this because I really needed one for my PS4. This one definitely stood out. I hooked it up and it couldn’t have been easier. It has to be formatted to the ps4 but that’s just a click of a button once you get to the setting. It was compatible and formatted in just mins. Have been using it for months with no issues. I moved all my games to the external drive and my ps4 seems to run smoother and load faster pulling from the drive. I wasn’t crazy about the price but after using it I’m definitely not disappointed.

Got this to store my PS5 games that won’t fit on the console memory. It works great and it writes data to the PS5 pretty quickly. Plus you can play all your PS4 games from it so it’s practically mandatory for a gamer.

This a powerful yet small External Hard drive for Playstation 4, which is exactly what I use it for. Right now, it only has maybe 20 games worth of info on it, but it does not slow down performance on any game. It is about the size of a small cellphone and remains plugged in at all times in my home (because there is no telling what game I might feel compelled to play at any given moment). and even after several long months of continued use, it functions as it did on the day I first started using it.This I cannot recommend enough!

This is one of the best things I have ever purchased for my PS4. It was super easy to set up and I have downloaded ALL of my games that I have purchased over the years with room to spare. If you are an individual that has a lot of patience, read no further. This is an amazing purchase if you are trying to gain access to more of your library. I've already recommended this to some of my friends with 500gb PS4s.Impatient Buyers:I am unsure what the issue with extended storage is, but updates/full game downloads will often pause for no apparent reason. This requires you to manually restart the download. Rest Mode downloading works most of the time, when USB ports are set to 'Always Powered', and leaving my system on all day is much more susceptible to the random pausing. With the system on I will start the download before I leave for work, and when I get home there will be a message that the download was stopped only moments after I left the door. After testing both methods I now do all of my downloading in Rest Mode as it seems to automatically restart the download, but it's not 100% of the time. if your mentally prepared to deal with the random pausing and restarts then I say have at it. It would be 5 stars from me if downloads would work as seamlessly as system storage.

I've been using this for a couple of months now and it has been great. Just plug it in to one of the USB slots on the PS4, do a very brief setup in the PS4 menu and you've got 2TB of storage space. It may not be as fast as an SSD, but its just as compact and its quite a bit cheaper than a SSD of the same capacity.

Lo compré en rebaja y fue una excelente decisión. Los instalé en mi PS4 del año 2014, que estaba sufriendo por falta de espacio, y sumarle los 2Tb me permitió descarga rmuchos juegos y contenidos que tenía pendientes. El sistema es muy fácil de usar. Se conectan los cables, se configura en el PS4 en apenas un clic y listo, la unidad empieza a trabajar como un disco duro extendido.Al programar las siguientes descargas, iban automáticamente para allá. La contraparte es que se pierde un puerto USB, que estará permanentemente conectado, pero eso al final no es tan importante... y también hay que respetar el encendido y apagado del PS4, porque hacerlo de golpe puede dañar la unidad de almacenamiento, que puede estar en uso.Para mí 2Tb han sido más que suficientes. No sé si un hardcore user necesite más que eso.
