Heavy Duty Brass Steering Knuckle Portal Cover for 1/10 RC Crawler TRX-4

With 2 minutes of using the Dremel it was a perfect fit.

No fitment issues and excellent quality.

These are a perfect way to add some weight to your crawler. I did have to modify my brass hub weights to fit on these but they have helped out tremendously to keep my rig from tipping backwards.

Used on stock trx4 axles. Fit perfect

I gave this 4/5 stars because it won't fit with the brass weights. Its SO CLOSE! I was able to very lightly tap them with the angle grinder in a few spots and they fit perfectly into the brass weights. It seems like a missed opportunity that they don't fit without modification. Anyway, the threads are so smooth and perfect, they are much nicer than the original plastic portal covers, and the bearings fit perfectly. My only regret is not getting a second set for the rear axle.i suggest buying some grease with these because I noticed the original grease was a little dirty from all the driving I've done with my truck, this is a good opportunity to clean out your axle portals and put in fresh grease, but that's up to you.

I should of taken the tires off for the picture but oh well, the machining is perfect, the quality of the metal is very nice as well, I already had the knuckles when I bought the truck but it's my class 2 comp crawler, I bought a set of these for front and rear and it gave my truck that extra bit of weight it needed, very pleased with the product and I've been recommending it ever since, and yes they're heavy just like they should be

The media could not be loaded. Adds good weight. Recommend only front on the defender. Its big and boxy. If you have the defender, add weight to the front only.

Well worth the price. Added this to the front of my Honcho and made a big difference coupled with adding diff cover weight in the rear. Weighs as stated. And no issues with the bearing fitment.I did have one issue, but I'm not counting it against the product. My old generation wheels have a large diameter inner beadlock ring and were rubbing on the brass so I had to grind it down a little, no big deal. I did try two other sets of beadlocks and did not have this issue.
