Best value for the money that I've found. Also I'm an electrician.
So yeah....super pleased and happy with this purchase. The receiver part that goes into your ceiling fans shroud is the right size. Tiny. It connects with minimal effort and works VERY well. The problem I've always had with these things is always the crappy remote and the even crappier remote sensor in the receiver. This one however works with an rf signal instead of the old line of sight infrared type or whatever. Not once have I pressed a remote button that the fan disnt respond to. Every single time I press a button it simply works with no problem. Radio frequency (RF) is so much better than the older styles of these things. Your local big box building supply stores want upwards of $30-$40 for these remote control units and don't work nearly as well. I spent about $14 on this one and when the time comes to install another into one of my fans i know for sure I'll be buying another one of these. It works perfectly. Always.

Perfect
Worked well, as advertised, easy to replace.

Plug and play
The case was too big to fit in the designated area, so I dismantled it and just used the circuit board/wires. Works perfectly.

Great replacement unit!
Got this to replace one our dog had chewed up the remote to. Simple to install, just make sure you program the remote. I thought something was wrong until I read further down on the instructions. Program was Simple and quick.

Lazy man loves this!!
Upgraded the fans in the house and decided to add this to the living room. Love this!! the timer feature is great for these, set it for a few hours and not worry about forgetting to turn off. FYI the lights get controlled by this but if you use the wall switch it will still over ride this, ( IE if you leave the switch on the wall on you use the remote as you wish, but if you want to use the wall switch to turn it off when you leave the room it will turn it off, then when you reenter the room, the wall switch can be used to turn it on. so you dont have to carry the remote in or out of the room as you enter or exit. andif you cant find the remote you're not stuck" )

For a fan that doesn't currently have a remote, or only 1 wireless remote controlled fan in home.
This was a bit difficult to rate. I have 2 identical wireless remote controlled fans (on different levels) that run on the same frequency, which can not be changed. So I can not use one remote without it affecting both fans. I purchased this receiver and remote in hopes of fixing that issue. Unfortunately, this universal remote and receiver also run on that same frequency. Which also can not be changed. If you have a singular wireless remote controlled fan and need to replace a failed receiver or remote, this is for you. Or if your fans equipped with dip switches to change frequencies like a garage door opener with wireless entry pad would have for example, then this set up would also work for you. But if your like me and have multiple fans running off the same frequencies with no way to change the frequencies, this isn't for you and will not solve your problem.
