I had high hopes for this shaved ice machine, but after using it for a few weeks, I’m left pretty disappointed. While it has a few redeeming qualities, the overall performance and user experience just don’t live up to expectations. Here’s why I’m giving it two stars:Pros:Decent Build Material: The food-grade stainless steel construction is a nice touch. It feels more solid than some cheap plastic models, and it's relatively easy to wipe clean.Compact and Portable: It’s small enough to fit on a countertop and doesn’t take up much space, which is good for home use or small gatherings.Adjustable Speed Feature: The adjustable snowflake speed is useful in theory — I like the idea of being able to control the texture of the ice.Cons:Loud and Noisy Operation: This machine is loud. It sounds like a blender on overdrive and makes it hard to have a conversation nearby. Not ideal for parties or shared spaces like an office.Inconsistent Ice Texture: Despite the adjustable speed, the ice consistency is very hit-or-miss. Sometimes it produces decent shaved ice, other times it's too chunky or watery, no matter the setting.Slow “Rapid” Cooling: The "rapid cooling" feature is misleading. It takes quite a while to get a batch of ice ready — definitely not fast enough for a busy environment like a restaurant or bar. Even for home use, it’s slower than expected.Small Capacity: It can’t handle large batches, so if you’re serving more than 2–3 people, expect to wait and run multiple cycles.Clunky Controls: The buttons and settings are not intuitive. The manual is vague, and it took a while to figure out how to properly operate the machine.Overall:This shaved ice machine looks promising, but it underperforms where it counts. It might be okay for very casual, occasional home use, but I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone expecting reliable performance or using it in a higher-demand setting. For the price, I expected a lot more in terms of speed, consistency, and ease of use.

The media could not be loaded. This ice cream machine is really neat. I have tried strawberry milk and pineapple juice to make ice cream. I fill the little reservoir and it in turn slowly runs out onto the little metal wheel inside that is frozen and it freezes the liquid. Its not loud while running. It gives off little sheets of ice cream. It makes a significant amount of ice cream with each fill. There are different settings, to slow the wheel or make it quicker, which impacts the consistency of the ice cream. It has a little drip plate to aid in reducing messes. Its easy to clean with water, there is a cleaning setting. Its really compact and lightweight compared to a traditional ice cream maker. Its easy to use and the ice cream is delicious.

Whoever said the instructions were unclear probably just lacked the spiritual capacity to understand them.Seriously though, the instructions are badly, the recipe ideas are too invomplete to be useful, but I wanted a machine to make me ice that I can use for nefarious purposes and this does that. It seems slow but if you just come back a few min later you'll have a tall stack of ice.

From the product video we had high hopes for this to be a fun machine, however, this takes a long time to get one modest size serving. Not at all as depicted in product video. No understandable written directions. So you have to guess when the drum is cold enough. Also the machine leaks liquid out of bottom which we could not locate exactly where. there is a button for cleaning but it seems to do nothing and the directions do not mention how to clean using the button. All in all very disappointed two thumbs down☹️👎🏻👎🏻

It’s very slow, much slower than I expected it to be. If I tried to change the speed, it wouldn’t work. It takes around 20-30 minutes to make a solo cup full of ice. Also, it won’t work unless the clean button is lit up. I can’t get any other button to light up.

I bought this machine for my adult son for his birthday gift, he’s 26. He asked for a Hawaiian ice machine, so he can use with friends at his home. He loves it! He will get more use over warming days ahead. We put together syrups and accessories for fun use. The machine is great. The only one we found that doesn’t need an ice machine also available, as it all is done from making ice to making it into shaved ice. Really worked just like we hoped. Great gift and fun for family and friends to share as well.

This ice machine arrived already broken, malfunctioning, or it does not work the way the seller said it would. There are three options here. I do not lie, and return items unnecessarily. So that eliminates one option. The item did not have finger or handprints anywhere, so it didn't appear to be used.. That leaves that it was a manufacturer defect. Otherwise, I am stumped. It truly just didn't work as it was explained abveven a lovely set of pictures at
