Comfy Living 4ft Small Double 120cm Wooden Futon Set with NAVY BLUE Mattress

Absolutely love this, I needed a nice comfortable and big bed but thought I’m unable to have my dream bed as I thought it would overtake my home which is a 1 bedroom apartment.Well this has done totally the opposite it has in fact made my home feel so cosy and this futon is so comfortable, I have the best sleep ever.I used to have a pull out a sofa bed and it used to take over and it was so soft and uncomfortable I had to get rid. I have bought this and it really does work well with the alignment of my body and spine. It is firm but a really good firm. I also use a mattress topper and like it’s gorgeous I never want to get off.If you’re thinking about getting this please do as it does wonders. It was so easy to put together and probably took me all of 30 minutes.The instructions were very straightforward and easy to understand.The wood is perfect and all the slats were smooth. I can honestly say I couldn’t find anything wrong with this purchase I LOVE ❤️ IT.

Comfy-living were amazing when I needed a last minute guest bed. They communicated quickly and delivered the futon at short notice a few days before Christmas 2015. Other retailers delivery times were 6-8 weeks away. The frame is simple to assemble and very sturdy, but ends are roughly cut, so need sanding so no one gets a splinter. However, comfort was key and the mattress was comfortable and a decent size compared to most sofa beds where you can't even turn over in your sleep they're so narrow. One small misgivings is I'm not too keen on the nylon-like material covering the futon, however the main irk, and what you can't see properly in the photo's, is what looks likes 'buttons' across the mattress (like in a sofa), are actually straight white plastic tags similar to plastic tags you find on clothing labels but sturdier. With a round piece of nylon behind each tag, looks like protective packaging not something you'd leave on, so I removed the nylon circles. So the photo's could do with a close up of this feature. Overall, I was so impressed by the company and for the price the sofa bed is great value for money, and handy for short term guests.

The delivery of this bed was really quick, it came in 2 packages which made it easier to get up the stairs, there was only a couple of screws to put the whole thing together (easy ) then it was onto unwrapping the mattress, this was just in a large plastic bag. the whole thing took less than 10 minutes to put together. The bed itself is between a single bed and a small double so it is perfect for a small room, it is sturdy, looks good, the mattress is thick and comfortable, ( not soft, more on the hard side ) very easy to unfold, I would suggest getting some floor protectors if on a wooden floor as it could scrape/scratch the floor also to stop it moving about. I would recommend buying this product.

Two adults fit comfortably on here. Pleasantly surprised with the quality, aesthetic and comfort.We keep this in our study / guest room. Great for a reading nook. Pop a throw and some cushions on top, the piece looks great and on trend.It was a winner with our guests that prefer a firm mattress but for those, like ourselves, that prefer a medium firmness we found it comfortable for a night with a topper. Great purchase and means we have more office space rather than paying similarly or more for a basic frame and mattress. Clever folding space saving design, and smart elevation at the head of the bed, so minimal pillows needed.Highly recommend!

The delivery was very quick, turned up 3 working days before the expected range of delivery! Glad I was home!The futon we slept on a couple of nights whilst waiting for a mattress and is fairly comfortable, I wouldn't want to spend many more nights on it but it will be great for the occasional guest.As a sofa it is comfortable and a good use of space.It was very easy to put together, and to put up and down from bed to sofa.I have only given 3 stars however as one of the slats has broken (due to a knot in the wood) already, and that was from less than a week of use. This is easily repairable however and does not deflect from the usefulness of the futon. I just hope no more go!

This is absolutely perfect. Excellent quality, bought as a gift for my daughter. She highly rates it for comfort and style . Gorgeous colour. Not a flaw in sight. Wood is smooth. Really well made. Highly recommend.

Very nice and sturdy pine base, shame that the edges are a bit rough and keep leaving bits off as they probably would have needed rounding and a bit of sanding. Apart from that, it's easy to assemble and the mattress is comfortable to sleep on. So far, two guests have used it and both were very happy. The mattress is a nice and hard and when used as a sofa it's a bit difficult to put in place but I'd rather have this then a soft mattress. It's good value for money when you just need a spare bed for the odd guest. The only thing I'd warn you about is ordering from comfy living. Apparently Amazon customers get their standard delivery which is Monday to Friday only form 8am - 6pm. There is no chance to pay extra for Saturday delivery so I was at the mercy of the delivery company who managed to deliver the item on third attempt. The comfy living staff has been completely unhelpful, their profile on Amazon does not mention this particular issue with delivery and when I queried this with them I was simply told to be at home or return the item. The delivery company was very kind to leave the item based on instruction notes left outside the building and had it not been for their kindness I probably would have cancelled the order and return the sofa. I would advise to buy this item with another seller. Absolutely unprofessional.

Really happy with the build quality, simplicity of putting together and the price but would only recommend to folk who like a very firm mattress.I'm getting an £80 memory foam mattress topper because its just to hard for me.
