ReviewI had a lumpectomy on January 16, 2025. When talking to my surgeon, I let her know that my scars tend to often keloid. She mentioned to try a silicone scar tape, which I had never heard of. I looked on Amazon and there were so many options, how was I to know which one to go with? Since I am a visual person, I looked at the packaging as well as the cost. I chose this brand since I could cut the size needed for my scar. I waited approximately two weeks for the incision to heal a little, and then I began putting this silicone tape on. I replaced it every couple of days. As time went on, I periodically checked and then would put a fresh piece of tape on the spot for a few days. A couple of months went by rather quickly. I was surprised when I went to look at the area one day and almost couldn’t find it! The discoloration is from radiation. I am now planning to go back to older scars to see if it fades them at all. I am also going to find out if it can be used on the eyelid. I highly recommend this product based on my own results.

I purchased this tape at a time where I had two scars from a minor surgery created on the exact same day. As a test, I used this product on one of them, but not the other. The scar that I have used the tape on consistently is much lighter and flatter than the other scar.I would say that these results indicate that the product works. I would recommend for anyone healing a scar.

I am so happy to report that I absolutely love this stuff! I had several scars that just wouldn’t go away with other brands. I tried this and all of my scars have lightened up!I will never use another brand!

The “DFK Silicone Scar Sheets” are always on hand in my medical to-go-bag! Working in forensics heightens your awareness to somethings that you always keep in your arsenal, and this is one of those things! I have used other brands before but I like this brand for these specific reasons; firstly, they come sealed in a clear wrapper so the actual tape is not exposed to the air and therefore not compromised by bacteria. They’re also placed in a box, so you can tell if they were tampered with. Secondly, the sheets are not precut so you have the option of customizing them to your preference. (I would highly recommend using scissors that are sterilized.) Lastly, the flexibility is superior to some other brands. This is important because they seal in the optimal moisture making it less likely to cause a fungus when getting wet. They also are reusable but make sure that you wash it thoroughly with a mild soap and water and then place them back on the ridge side that you cut them off to dry. I’m actually using them now due to surgery on my shoulder. One more thing; I highly recommend NOT using this product until your wound has healed and scabbed over. Surgical scars should wait until 6-8 weeks. This scar tape is thick enough to keep skin from being irritated by clothing seams. It functions well for sun protection and it does a great job reducing keloids. In conclusion, used properly and adjusting the size to fit your needs. You will have great results and it will stick to your skin even though a shower.

A week use so far and my keloid has reduced in size and redness significantly. This is a great product!

I like the way the silicone tape stays on all day. I tried cocoa butter first but it just rubbed off onto my clothes. With the silicone tape, I put it on after I shower and forget about it. I've been using it for about a month and my scar is much smoother. I plan to continue using it to see how much more improvement I could get from it.

I'm glad I ordered this for a surgical scar on my forearm. Initially I was having problems getting it to stick and an even harder time reusing it, but I found a few tricks:~take advantage of being able to cut to fit (you can round the edges so they don't get caught on stuff)~when its cut to almost the same size as the scar, I've been able to leave it on for a week at a time.~even though i can reuse it, I typically don't because I'm using so much less by cutting it down.The only thing I can't comment on is how well it reduces the appearance of the scar as it has only been about 3 weeks.

I love the silicone tape for my son. It’s easy to put on and you can reuse it multiple times before putting on a new one. I can tell that it actually works because the scar is feeling softer and physically looks better. It does occasionally come off because my son is very active but that is to be expected. All in all love this product.
