Really nice tape recorder and player and sim card aswell is great, quality is fair but through a music system sounds great, so it's good value for money.

Play tape and record to sd card no need to pc record.
Easy to use. USB or built in battery for power. Time of tape about 60 min for 30 min side a and b so on when recording start 1 then 2 then 3 if you stop after song or if leave it do 60 min tape side a then will be 1 and 2 for tape, next tape same length 3 and 4, remember after recording sd you don't have fast forward only when use tape pick next track. Sound good both sd and tape amaze tape made 1976 sound grate but all tape remember some tape can sound low as made that way one record. Did bus ride back up tape 1hr batteries in still had full bar nice. Did have Bluetooth 3.5 mm jack transmitter use full didnot take to much room so I could put inside coat pocket to earpod save on cable, dose have nice speaker play down stairs quietly room and can be heard upstairs past halfway. Tape will stay in so no way pop out when not playing. One last thing when stop tape 2 sec play sd card unless you turn unit off, rec by mic or tape hold record 2 sec see it on screen if tape stop or press stop save sd card not yet put sd card in pc 16 gig card might need better card and back it up just in case. Last thing backing tape is 1 speed, 30 min tape going to 30 min. So if want to back up tape can at home or out about.

An all-round great product for the price!
I'd been looking at various devices that can easily convert cassette tapes to mp3 files and finally decided on this one.Note: It is not possible to record to a cassette tape on this device. The first thing that struck me was how tactile this device is. For anyone (like me) who is completely blind, all the controls and buttons are easily identifiable. For someone with dexterity problems, the main thing that may cause an issue is putting the tiny SD card in and releasing it. You need to press it in with your thumbnail or fingernail into the spring-loaded socket. One thing I found is that you have to be so careful when releasing the SD card, on my first attempt it shot off like a rocket!A very nice touch is a clear audible message: "battery is low, please recharge”.It comes with basically everything you need to get started, the accessories box includes a USB to USB-C charging cable; a 16GB SD card; a USB thumb drive with a slot for the SD card; a really nice pair of 3.5mm earphones with spare tips to make sure the fit is right for you; and a clip that holds the earphones cable to your clothes.Recording quality of cassette to mp3 file on the SD card: Bitrate 160kbps; Channels: 2 Stereo; Audio Sample Rate: 44.100 khz. A recording I made that was 27 minutes 47 seconds long produced an MP3 file size of 31.8 mb.Recording quality from the built-in microphone to the SD card: Bitrate: 56 kbps; Channels 1 Mono; Audio sample rate: 16.000 khz.To me, the recording seems generally crisp although noticeably lacking in bass, which isn't surprising for cassettes. Cassettes are also naturally hissy, so don't expect CD quality recordings. Using audio editing software can help reduce the hiss to some degree as well as increase the bass.An all-round great product for the price!

Functions well,helpful supplied accessories
Bought this device to allow me to listen to cassette tapes that accompanied guitar tuition books that I bought about 30 years ago and so far it's been great. The cassette player is excellent for playing, fast forward and rewind so far. Others have mentioned the poor speaker on the cassette but I am therefore pleasantly surprised that it sounds fine. The rechargeable battery is fine too and it's nice to have a USB cable supplied which allows the batteries to be charged. I don't know how long the fully charged batteries will operate before needing a recharge as I've generally had it plugged into a socket via the charging cable and a USB accepting plug. It's early days but so far no tapes chewed up.I have also not yet tried to record my tapes onto the supplied stick. It's basic yes compared to the good old days of top quality cassette decks but yep it works fine.

Plays too fast
The item rips cassettes to an (Included) SD card but the playback makes everything sound like they’ve inhaled helium - the playback is about 25% too fast. This item was to replace another similar item which the SD card did not fit in. There’s zero quality control on most of this stuff from the PRC. You pay for what you get, it seems.EDIT: Invited to contact Klim, sent an email 5 days ago, zero response.
