I have been looking for square shaped glasses for a while now. I have some old glasses that needed replacing and I found these. I like square shaped glasses because they fit in my cabinet very nicely. The only problem with these glasses is the well at the bottom of the glass. When you put them in the dishwasher, they must be offset and not put in straight up and down. If so, water will pull in the bottom of the glass, and you will need to rinse and dry them separately.

Initially, I was put off by the square'ish aspect, they are not round, there are 4 subtle corners at the opening. This wasn't clear from the Amazon description page. However, after a few weeks of use, they are growing on me. Good, solid feel, and they hold the contents of an entire 12oz beverage container with room to spare, unlike my 12oz drinking glasses.
