Top notch Boxtop
An affordable and whacky alternative to Tumblin' Dice.

Fun Game. Kinda like Tumblin' Dice w/Theme
Four stars overall due to slightly low quality, but the fun factor is high and the cost is relatively low.Quick OverviewIf you have ever played Tumblin' Dice, then you already know 80% of this game. If not, no worries. The game board is created using the three box pieces the game comes in. It builds a ramp of sorts that is supposed to resemble a pinball machine. There are master pieces that are placed on the board and a few cardboard pieces used to block a few sides (see pictures).GameplayEveryone (2-4 players) starts with 4 dice. The game is played in three rounds. Each round you will flick your four dice down the "pinball machine" trying to knock over monster, hit other dice off the board, score bonus dice, gather "clues" (bonus points) and hope your die lands on a high number. After each round you will score the number of monsters you hit that round and the total value of your dice, plus any multipliers on the board. The highest score after three rounds wins.PROSIt is fun. We played a few games today with two 40 year old adults, and 16, 14, 12, 7 and 5 year Olds. Everyone had a good time and my two youngest didn't want to stop.Price is good.Easy to teach.Easy to learn.Young kids love to play and adults still enjoy.Easy and quick to setup and take down.CONSThe cardboard is a little flimsy. Holds up okay, but might not last a long time... that said, it's priced accordingly. The sleeve that covers the box is mandatory and very thin. Wish it was thicker.SUMMARYBuy it. It is fun and worth your pennies. You can play with kids or without and I still think you will like it.Suggested House Rules:Take out the #1 #6 and #7 clue tokens. They are randomly placed on the board and can swing the game heavily. If a monster is knocked in the hole, leave it there for the round. Adds a fun element to the game to try and block people from scoring all the monsters after you have hit one.
