Dont use often, but comes in handy.
Made it easy for the hard to reach fuel injector connectors in the back of the engine and under the harness.

Must Have
This tool is amazing for disconnecting electrical connectors on automobiles. Especially on older cars that have a lot of dirt and grime around the connectors. It also helps to protect the connector from damage when disconnecting the part for repairs. The grips are well made and make the tool easy to grip when you have some oil and grease on your hands. The build quality is very good for the price you pay. Definitely way more affordable than similar items on a tool truck. Once you use these disconnect pliers and see how easy it is to disconnect electrical connections, you’ll never go back to using just your fingers. The ergonomics of this tool makes holding and using the tool feel natural and easy in the hand. Overall, I would definitely recommend these disconnect pliers to any DIY’er or professional mechanic as they make your job a lot easier and frustrating. Definitely purchase these.

Your fingertips will thank you
I've had lots of vehicles in the shop lately that have numerous electrical connectors, sometimes, they pop off easy enough, but some you've got to pinch so darn hard it starts to hurt. That is an issue from the past now. I stumbled across a video showing these and I was hitting "buy" before the video ended. I like to brush dirty connectors off, then blow the stuff off with air, gently pull the lock with a bent pocket screwdriver and then send these pliers in for the kill and effortlessly unplug them. Awesome tool.

Absolutely Worth It – These Pliers Make the Job So Much Easier
I don’t normally leave long reviews, but these Lisle electrical disconnect pliers seriously deserve some praise. I do a decent amount of work on my cars and trucks—mostly weekend DIY stuff—and if you've ever had to deal with stubborn electrical connectors (especially those evil little tabs that seem to be designed purely to frustrate you), you already know how annoying and time-consuming it can be.These pliers? Total game changer.First off, they’re super simple to use. There’s no crazy learning curve or need to look up YouTube videos on how to handle them. You just slide the tips in around the connector tab, give a little squeeze, and boom—off it comes. No more broken clips, no more chewed-up connectors from trying to pry with a flathead screwdriver or your fingers. It’s like the tool was custom made for the one job it does, and it nails it every time. The design is clever, too. The head of the pliers let you get into tight spots that your hands would normally never reach, especially in modern engine bays where everything is packed tighter than a can of sardines. Another feature for the (37990 - Straight pliers) is that they are spring loaded, so one handed operation is a breeze. I used them recently while replacing my fuel injectors, and there were a couple connectors buried so deep I was about ready to give up. These pliers got in there like a surgical tool and made the disconnection smooth and stress-free.The build quality feels solid—nothing cheap or flimsy about them. They’re unfortunately made in Vietnam (which I didn’t even realize until after I bought them), however you can tell they’re built to last. I’ve put them through a few tough jobs already, and there’s no wear or play in the pliers at all. The handles are comfortable too—coated with a nice grippy material that doesn't slip around even if your hands are a bit oily.Honestly, for the price, this is one of those tools you wish you’d bought years ago. It’s not flashy or complicated—it just does exactly what it’s supposed to do, and it does it really, really well. If you work on your own vehicles and have cursed at a connector more than once, do yourself a favor and pick these up. You’ll wonder how you ever managed without them. One star removed since I'm pretty sure these used to be made in the USA.Highly recommend!

I was skeptical as I dont often find pliers I really need and don't already own, but these connector pliers work awesome for some hard to get connectors. Used a friend's and had to have them.
