I purchased the Lifegrip Anti Slip Traction Tape, 4 Inch x 38-foot roll, to add some safety to the steps on my deck. After waiting for a couple of weeks for the wood to dry following the last rain, I applied the tape, and it stuck well initially. It even held up fine in some rain.What I Liked:Easy to Apply: It went on easily and adhered well in dry conditions.Effective Traction: The tape provided good traction on my deck steps, which helped prevent slipping when the surface was wet.What Went Wrong:Not Winter-Proof: As soon as we had our first ice storm/snowstorm, the adhesive let go, and the tape came right up. It didn’t hold up to the winter weather, which was disappointing.Overall Impression:While the Lifegrip Anti Slip Traction Tape worked great for wet conditions, it didn't stand up to the cold, icy weather as I hoped. If you're in a region that doesn’t see harsh winters, it might be a solid choice. Otherwise, be cautious during the colder months.UPDATE: After a couple of months of cold damp weather, all the anti slip tape has come off the steps.

Excellent quality anti-slip tape for steps. Once easily applied, it maintains a good grip and stays put. Very rugged.

I am very happy with how this tape works to keep my step in place. It really works! We also put it on the step to keep my feet from slipping on it and that also works. I would recommend this tape!

Love this stuff. Great quality, consistent color , great adhesion, easy to apply . Second roll as first was not enough for 28ft waverunner trailer. Highly recommend over other brands - did try other brands and quality was far less for same price and some a little more.

Works great! They are pretty sticky, but you can also pick them back up & rearrange & restick if needed & mine are still stuck fine after doing so! Also as of now, doesn't leave any residue at all & this is the reason I chose these particular ones after reading thru reviews here & other products; my husband was worried about residue being left once we were done with them on our interior spiral staircase, but so far so good. We got them for a new puppy, whose paws just slide right thru the open face of the stair, so he couldn't use the stairs. I opened the package, cut to size 14 strips & stuck them down all within about 10 minutes! And our puppy walked right up the stairs, very first try with the new grip tape! So excited! I used 14 strips about a 11-12 inches long & I'd say I still have half the roll left at least. Definitely worth the money, would highly recommend! At least for indoor use, can't attest to how they perform outside.

2 months so far and they are really holding up. I’m very pleased with these. I know they are going to last for a while. I would repurchase these if I needed too. It’s also super easy to install.

Waterproof is great, thickness that's needed for high traffic areas, saves the deck stain & protectant, peels off easy, sticky back adheres great, the brightness it illuminates is outstanding, color is exactly what I expected, won't come off after continuous walking to adhere
