I used corn based xylitol for several years, not being able to find birch based. I was thrilled to finally find birch and it turns out that it's a much better tasting product! Corn gets a bit sickening if you use too much, and it even burns my throat a bit, but the birch doesn't have those same issues! I would definitely not go back to corn. Love this!According to nutritionist Doug Kaufman, all corn is universally contaminated with fungus - even organic corn. So I really didn't want to be using a corn based xylitol. Now that I can get this REAL BIRCH XYLITOL I'll never go back to corn!This product is excellent! If you like corn based, I think you're really going to love this birch xylitol sooo much more!

The package with included zip lock closure is nice and sturdy, but the it arrives sealed at the top above the zip lock channel which is exposed and blocked by the Xylitol granules during shipping, so you'll need to take a plastic toothpick or something similar to unblock the zip lock channel before you will be able to seal it properly.First time I have tried xylitol and initially place the flavor roughly equivalent to sucralose, with the exception that sucralose is much sweeter. Clean and sweet with no nasty aftertaste. I'll need more time with it to judge further, but I don't believe it has the equivalent sweetness of sugar, maybe 75%.

I mix this with my inulin fiber and coconut sugar so I get the sweet taste with less carbs.Also pit it my home made mouthwash as xylitol is very good for the teethGood product

Best birch xylitol out there! Seriously! The granules are smoother than other brands so it melts quickly in coffee. It also has a cleaner sweet taste as opposed to a syrupy taste in other birch xylitol. (Birch is preferred over corn xylitol or anything else) And it is less expensive! I hope they don't raise the prices because this is now my go-to xylitol! Easy company to deal with, too. Grateful 🥰

This item was not sweet at all. I had to use 3-times as much compared to other Berch Bark products
