English Flint Fire Strikers (5 Piece) Flint for Sparking Survival Tools Outdoor Camping

Good size pieces which will make it easy to strike a spark.

The amount and size of stones were very generous. Stones were fractured very nice flat and sharp.

Recomy order today. It’s listed as five pieces but I received six and I believe that is because two of the six were wafer thin and not great for striking but at most good for cutting.I’d rather had five nice hunks though because i was to split this with others. Two for children of mine and two for friends whom I all got strikers for. And the fifth was for me. Three of them are real nice though. Will last for many strikes one is not so bad.I’d say nothing if it all was only for myself but I had a plan that this sort of makes me a bit sad about my extra piece deal because two were close to being like paper and I have to decide who’s the least favorite of mine toGift tiem to. Of all was for the self I’d see it differently and say the two are good for skinning perhaps.From what I read this is the best seller so it is what it is. They didn’t know my plan so no hard feelings I suppose.At least o have something to strike now.

The flint came in a black velvet bag which was stuffed full. This bag contained 5 pieces of natural flint, 2 of which were quite large; one was small but still useful in size. They appear to be English flint, and they spark like a true English flint when struck with a good piece of steel. I was quite impressed with the quality and quantity of flint in this order.

I received about a handful of sharp flint stones. And it was packaged in a nice drawstring bag. Very nice.

The reviews that I read concerning the product were positive.My experience was not.I bought 2 bags of the flint. A few of my friends wanted me to show a few non-typical(In this period of history) ways to start a fire.I was looking forward to recieving my new bags of flint.Out of the 2 bags of flint that I bought:One bag had 1 piece that was similar to the size represented by the picture of 5 pieces laying in a person's hand. The other 4 pieces were very small.The other bag that I bought had 2 (really 1 and a half) pieces of flint that were not very small.Somebody must not have been paying attention when it came to quality control / the selection of the pieces of flint that went into the 2 bags that I bought and recieved.I don't recommend this product. The bags that I recieved were not good values for the price that I paid.It's too bad. I was looking forward to receiving these.Maybe I'll try to contact the company. If they treat me fairly, I will update my comment fairly.

I bought a flint a steel kit that came with a piece of chert that had no sharp edges and produces hardly any sparks. This kit comes with several pieces of flint and all have sharp edges making it easier to strike sparks. So if that’s what you want this for I’d get it

They work as advertised, however they are very small and hard to use.
