Great Rice Alternative
I discovered this product some time ago and it is my go to as a substitute to traditional rice. It is so easy to prepare, just empty the rice into a colander, rinse, put into a bowl and heat in the microwave for 2 minutes. The plus side is that this product good value for money and low in calories. The texture is totally different from rice as it is wetter and it does not stick together, so is perfect every time. I should mention that upon opening there is sometimes a slight smell but once the product has been rinsed this disappears. I would recommend this product. Just give it a try.

Really good - tasty and almost as nice as 'real' rice
I was really dubious about this rice. How can it be zero carb and actually taste any good? I used to eat cauliflower rice with my curries to keep it low carb, but this stuff is 100 times nicer and I won't be going back. Bit of prep to drain initially, then I drop the rice in a frying pan with some butter and 'cook' it for a few minutes. Perfect.

Not too bad
OK, if it tasted exactly like real rice and had, effectively, zero calories it would be a miracle. I wasn't expecting it to be that great, it was OK, perfectly edible, I had it with an Indian Curry from Exante so I had a whole meal for just over 200 calories. Some people have talked about the smell but I followed the instructions on the packed and washed it thoroughly before use and I didn't notice anything. It will take some getting used to but it could be a lot worse. I think I prefer skinny pasta but curry and pasta doesn't work.

Not too bad, means I can have curry on keto diet
Not too bad, means I can have curry on keto diet, really helps, bit more like small grains of pasta.

Useful for a keto diet.
You wouldn't sprinkle it over a salad, it has few eating merits. However used with a dish with a sauce it can bulk out a meal a little bit like rice would. Is it like rice, no. Can it help, with a bit of work, yes. It's great for the gut biome.

A great low-carb option and makes low calorie egg fried rice!
This is a great low carb / calorie option but requires a bit of effort! It's not as firm as real rice but you can make a great meal with it. What I do is rinse thoroughly under a tap in a sieve. Then I use a teatowel to squeeze out as much water as possible. Then it can either be microwaved or dry fried as required. My favourite option though is with a stir fry. I stir fry my meat and veg and use a splash of a chinese sauce such as hoi sin. Then in a separate pan I dry fry the rice to heat it up. Then I add an egg and stir it through, it makes a passable egg fried rice with a fraction of the calories.

Just Fabulous !!
Just ordered the second lot to use in cooking for weight loss / metabolic reset diet.I tried the noodles before, but find this rice-shape easier to chew and to cook with. Rinsing 3 times as suggested does away with the smell (and bringing to rolling boil for 3 minutes before use). It adds a nice texture to any meal. However, it is best to stir the Slim Rice into meal or sauce, rather than having it on the side like traditional rice dishes. Also nice as desert: I usually leave 1-2 tbsp. aside for mixing in with a little Soya Joghurt, Berries and a drop of Stevia...which is a nice treat!I can't fault this product and am pleased it is available - will continue using it!And I am going to experiment with Glucomannan Powder (Konjak Powder) for smoothies/drinks next.
