Good gear
Got them on all my radiators. They work as described. I had to redo all my radiators to support them though as the connection didn’t work.

Item degrades over time
**** BE WARNED*** I have bought 7 of these over a period of time and a major issue has developed causing me to have to by 2 replacements. the plastic that locks onto the collar of the valve (not the silver threaded part) appears to become brittle over time, probably due to heat. this causes them to snap rendering the whole unit useless. This appears to be a major design flaw as the broken part is not replaceable. be warned!!!

Works well
The room stays withing the temperature range well. I sometimes hear the thermostat adjusting itself, in the quiet of the night. It easily linked to our bespoke computer control system. I need to add a few more to our system, when I have some more spare cash.

Don’t Last
I am afraid I no longer recommend this product. I have 20 paired with sensors and about 5 have broken within 18-24 months. The plastic splines that mount to UK radiator (no adapter needed) get hot and go brittle so disintegrate. Another the motor has pushed the top off. Other annoyances are losing connections or pairings with remote sensor (this may improve adding more zigbee hubs), The Group function cannot be scheduled only individual TRVs (I want to set a room not a radiator) and they eat batteries and rechargeable are not supported. It’s a shame as otherwise it’s a good system but needs a new design IMO. Support was initially good at replacing now they dont respond.

Ok... but not
So I tryed already the meross trv, a tuya trv and this one.I started from meross trv. Worked ok but was noisy. Im really sensitive with the sound while Im sleeping, and that was the mayor reason to removed. Then I bought a tuya trv. Is a bit... difficult to keep it connected but even awake, I can't even know if is working because is almost quiet. You have to put you ear too close to hear the motor working. And then the aqara... looks a really nice quality, but just with as noisy as the meross. I dont event tryed to sleep one night because it was excatly the same than meross one.As well, connected to HA trought zha it find it, but looked like didnt let me change the temp trought ha. As said, I didnt play too much because it will be a waste of time.So if you re like me, that hate esporadic sounds... forget it. Next one will be the drayton trv and see how it works.

Easy to fit and accurate
I bought these to replace some simple thermostatic valves with a 1-5 setting. The Aquara ones have a nice clear screen on the top and the temperature can be set by twisting the top of via Zigbee. The manufacturer says that you need their hub but I have mine running directly from HomeAssistant using a generic Zigbee dongle, this is a big plus because it means they are futureproof.Very easy to fit and they come with some adapters that will fit most radiators.Based on the battery use so far I think it will need new batteries about every 2 years which is very good. The only downside I have found is that when close to temperature setpoint they open and close the valve slightly every few minutes (which is expected) but this makes a faint buzz for a second or two which is just about loud enough to be irritating in a bedroom but I am being very picky in mentioning this.I will update this review when the first unit needs a new battery.
