These work great for flexibility and quality HDMI
Needed a quick and dirty solution for some wiring challenges for projection mapping. Been testing these out and the have not dissapointed. I was even to run HD signal over 200' on Cat5e! Simple easy solution to make runing HD video a lot more flexible! Would recommend !00%

Great Product!
Works great! Very simple to use and easy to install. Simply plug each end on the tv and the device you’re wanting to transmit. CAT5 cable is a lot easier to handle than those heavy HDMI cables. I Would recommend to everyone

You worked and it didn't
It works and doesn't work. When I plug it in it initially worked and then it went off so I don't know if I did something wrong or not

It worked as expected! - (Addendum - lost signal after 2 weeks - shortened cable to fix problem)
I had a 60 ft. run between my security camera and a TV in the kitchen. My wife wanted to show the security cameras on the TV. I could not find any HDMI cables longer than 25 ft, so I ordered this converter/extender. I had a 100 ft Cat-5 cable left over from the security system installation, so I snaked it between the security system and the TV. When I plugged the transmitter side into the Cat-5 and the security system, and then plugged the receiver into the other end of the Cat-5 and added a 5V USB power supply cable to the receiver, and then plugged the receiver into the TV, I could set the TV input to HDMI and the picture was perfect. I would recommend this solution to anybody who needs to run a long HDMI link. Addendum - after 2 weeks the TV started giving "no signal". Troubleshooting 100' cable showed continuity of all 8 wires. alternate (shorter) cable brought signal back. I cut 40 extra feet of the cable and re-terminated with new RJ-45 and signal returned. I must have been at the limit of the other cable.

does not provide a clear image
I have tested these on 6 different cables, all varying lengths from 3' to 50' and not one variance will provide an image that is not pixelated. Some are not horrible, meaning you can still see the overall content as long as you don't mind flickering of colors while the image is pixelated. I tried every format they say is compatible and not one works properly. Not worth the investment. I would encourage a better solution as this will not meet expectations if you have a similar experience as to mine. (PS - I do video production so I am well versed in technology.)
