Great hold downs!
Bought to install in an enclosed trailer. Work great so far for ratchet strap hold down points to tie down my equipment. Seem very durable and almost overkill for my application.

Perfect fit and heavy duty
So like other reviews I wanted medium duty rings. Big bog stores want either $9 for 4 light ones (300lbs) or $9 for one heavy duty (4k lbsi think). For me I wanted to put in 4 on my 5x8 trailer. I could set up 2 straps for my quad and the lights didn't seem like a good fit. Heavy ones are over kill since my wood planks would break before it gave out plus I would spend $40. I'm so glad I found these. They are perfect and feel as strong as the heavy duty ones but you get 4 for only a few dollars more. Also by luck the already matched the smooth lag bolts spots such a win. Would be my only complaint is no bolts, washers or nuts. However, any you buy won't have them so Its not worth complaining. Think about it they have no idea width you may actually need or the length. Also if you need zinc versus stainless or whatever.

Nice D-Rings
I wanted some heavy duty D-Rings for my small trailer. Might be a little ever-kill as my friends look at it. They are very well constructed for the price. Once hard mounted the rings still move freely.

STOUT, SIZED JUST RIGHT
Two sets of 10 so far. SOLID STEEL, STOUT construction. I welded all 10 of each set to both of my utility trailers. I did not want or need 1/2" for a utility trailer load. They work with small straps, big straps, whatever you want to use. You could even feed most chain through them. These will last the life of the trailer, and yes, you can position them whichever way you want, if you weld them. If you bolt them, the bolts will rip out long before the rings or bases give out.I do not have time for crap equipment, I recommend these highly, just weld them on.

Just what and how many I needed.
These things are great! I had difficultly finding medium duty anchor points at the stores around me. They had light duty (400 lbs) or heavy duty (5,000 lbs) but no medium. I didn't want to trust my motorcycle to the light duty anchor points and the heavy duty anchor points were ridiculously large and expensive ($10 each). BTW, the light duty ones likely would have been fine, but they looked wimpy. Why take the chance on your $15,000 motorcycle falling off the trailer or hitting the bike next too it. And a 10 pack is exactly what I needed and there was no excess packaging. Just a small cardboard box with the parts.

This would work great if you were going to fasten these with 3/8" ...
These are huge and strong. Note the square areas punched out for the bolts. This would work great if you were going to fasten these with 3/8" carriage bolts that have the square neck on them, otherwise, you will probably need flat washers like the pictures shows (July 2016). The "D" ring is about 3/8" and you will need to mount these with 3/8" bolts to get the full tie-down strength. 1/4" or 5/16" carriage bolts are too small and they will turn in the square mounting cutouts. I wish the picture had shown the square mounting cutouts. If the picture had been better and if I could have mounted these with 3/8" carriage bolts, then this would have been a 5 star situation. In my case, I had to mount these with 1/4" bolts and flat washers because of my application where I cannot get to the back of the mounting surface. I simply have 1/4" by 20 TPI threads that I am mounting to. In my case, the smaller Tie-Downs with the round mounting holes would have been better. I better picture might have shown this. A sentence like "Mounts with 3/8" carriage bolts" would also have made this clear.

D Ring works as expected
Used for supplemental tie down points on my trailer. I have used them in the past as well, without issue, seem to be of similar quality but have not used them yet.

Super high quality and extremely robust construction
I bought these to install on my truck bed to have 6 down each side (ordered this 10-pack then an additional 4-pack). Super high quality and extremely robust construction. They do the job perfectly as tie-downs for a truck bed. I'd be comfortable strapping down most any kind of load using these anchors. For the bolts I used high-quality 1.5" long 3/8" carriage bolts and matching nuts with built-in lockwasher and they work great.
