Needing to retrieve items from the 8 1\2 foot ,bottom of my pool, 3 years closed, 3 year old winter cover. Sediment is horrible ,but tree limbs & leaves are not. I really appreciate the black little weight at the end of the mesh net . I can pull up, 24 thousand gallons are very heavy , and flip it without touching the net . Empty whatever was caught, and it flips back over the correct way. BONUS ! Hope it last a long time. (Next day 4 AM Prime delivery made me very happy ! )

I've bought multiple leaf skimmers over the years but they seem to quickly fall apart. This one is constructed a little differently and so far seems much sturdier. The netting is fine and picks up smaller floating particles. The plastic edges also have a slope to them which makes it easier to scoop up items on the bottom of the pool. All in all, I am very happy with this net. I hope it lasts more than one season, unlike most other ones I have purchased.

Replaced a net that was a couple of years old and got damaged as a result of overuse during last storm. This net is incredible. Lightweight, the entire outside perimeter is rubberized so not only do I feel it will work better than the rigid hard plastic of my former one, it works to 'skid' along the floor of my pool to dust up some of the smaller particles and scoop them into the net. The other wonderful feature is that the net itself is doubled up so it catches much finer debris which often sifted through the webbing of the older net. It has a large capacity bag and is incredibly sturdy feeling. HIGHLY recommend and great value for the money.

Pool rake is decent overall. Good size, mesh seems like good quality, good value for money.However, the design of the frame is a bit flawed - the lip, especially the outer lip, is a bit thick, which means when actually raking the bottom of the pool as it's designed to do, it gets caught more than I'd like (I have a tiled pool). Also, a well-designed lower lip helps scrape up leaves and crap and guide them into the net, but this one just doesn't work as well at that as others I've used.Overall still decent value, just wish the lip worked better.

I had one net that had a scoop front, but was too coarse to catch smaller debris and another that didn't scoop well but caught very small debris. What I was looking for was the best of both and this is it. Great for getting debris that has settled to the bottom with the scoop and fine enough net to catch all but the smallest debris. Haven't had it but for a month or so, but so far, it seems sturdy.

I usually don’t leave reviews, but I thought it was important this time. My in ground pool is 12 years old so I have been cleaning it for many years. I live in a long leaf pine forest and also have several hardwood trees on my property all of which are close to my pool. I have used many leaf rakes in the past, but by far this rake picks up 98% of the large and small debris on the surface and bottom of the pool. I plan on purchasing a second rake, so I have a spare. Why did you pick this product vs others?:I chose this one over others because of the reviews, specifically the ones that talked about it being more durable than the other ones, especially the cheaper ones. I personally have only used this one twice since we haven’t had it long but so far, so good. It is a little smaller than the one we had before, but maybe that is what contributes to its durability.
