These are the best pieces of dishware that I own. They're perfect for pasta or any other dish that isn't quite ideal for flat plate but not suitable for an actual bowl. I use them constantly and could not be happier with them.

Beautiful and perfect for pasta

I wanted something girly and different and fun to replace the plain and boring dishes I got that were a compromise while married. Now I'm happily divorced. These are pretty and sturdy and I enjoy using them.

Beautiful, great size and adds lovely color to your table. We had family over for a spaghetti dinner and these were perfect size. Our garlic bread fit right on side of bowls. Great In dishwasher! Jan D

ProsBowls very well packed and included a flyer telling you how to get a replacement should they arrive broken.Size is appropriate for my needs - dinner salad, very large bowl of soup, large dinner serving of pasta, or small meal.Smooth bottom rim will not scratch surfacesCon’sWhile the bowls are black, there is a red undertone to the glaze, making the bowls appear dark brown in some light. As a former art teacher, I can be fussy about this, hence the 4 stars instead of 5 stars.In the bottom of each bowl there is a tiny raised dot. This will not impact function and food will cover it when serving.Note, as with most dishes, these bowls get hot in the microwave.Bottom line, I think they are a good value for the money and I really liked the size.

I serve dinner in these almost every night, perfect size. They don't work well if you're serving something that needs to be cut up while eating but great for everything else. And, they're very attractive.

Love these! Pretty colors, solid without being too heavy, and plenty big for a dinner sized meal without being oversized. They’re the most popular dishes in the house now.
