Love the cameras! And love the Reolink app! No subscription required
I bought 5 of these cameras and installed on my lake house which is 1200 miles away from where I live. It is great being able to see what's going on. I set them on "record on motion" and the app makes it easy to see what triggered the recordings.I installed a Power over Ethernet (PoE) router for these, which meant no routing of extra power lines to each camera. A $60 PoE switch was definitely worth the investment here. I put a 128Gb micro-SD card in each, so no cloud subscription is required.I also put one of these in my garage so I could see if there is water from the well tank, softener, or heater there. Well worth the small incremental investment for my peace of mind.I highly recommend these and am kinda looking for more "use cases" to buy a few more :-)

Great When WiFi Sucks in The Sump
The media could not be loaded. I tried a blink outdoor wifi camera in our sump well but as soon as the steel cover dropped, so did the signal. Our house was strangely built on a spring, and without a sump pump the crawlspace fills like a swimming pool in a few days. The rain gutters and footer french drain all go in this deep, dark well.Sump pumps only lasted a few months with constant on and off cycles, even with a timer, so I have this great camera with a POE net switch ($25 or so) setup outside so I can remotely check the level and start my pump when there are two feet of water in the sump. It can evacuate 700 gallons a day when it rains. The camera was easy to install with the turret screwed on a wood board. It has great sound, so I can hear when the pump is almost running dry and stop it. The app is also very easy to use, I can check on things a few times a day when we are half a country away in Iowa. The sump itself is in Washington State. I hope this keeps working in the humidity and weather, so far so great.

Good quality with good price point
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Easy to setup with agent dvr and integrate Into home assistant. Image quality and detect is decent. Just bought the doorbell and 2 bullet cameras and a some camera to go with it. If you're a diy'er and want to setup an NVR yourself like I wanted to, then these are the best budget cameras on the market.

It works ok, but the image is not as good as a 4K
I bought this for my backyard, but the clarity compared to another Reolink PoE 4K camera (810) was not great. I'm not sure if there was a problem on the sensor or not. This camera locally recorded great to 256GB micro SDHC including audio, but I could not see any way to focus even with the frame rate and video stream set high, just wasn't clear like the 810. Also not in the spec (that I could see) was the actual lens size and depth of view. Motion detection sensitivity is hard to adjust, the software is not clear. Overall I really like the Reolink products and recording software.

Very clear pic and remote access
Have purchased quite a few cameras from Reolink and the PoE series doesn’t disappoint. It provides a very clear picture in both day and night and offers 3 configurable quality modes (Fluent, Balanced and Clear) which allows a varying amount of bandwidth allowing one to access the camera over cellular networks which keeps your cost down. It’s very easy to install since there’s no need for both a power and Ethernet cable (requires PoE network switch).Pros- Easy to install using just an Ethernet cable (requires PoE network switch)- High quality picture/video both in day and night mode- Configurable quality modes of Fluent (lower quality, less bandwidth), Balanced (good quality, more bandwidth) and Clear (high quality, high bandwidth)- Can access directly via URL to display within 3rd party apps (i.e. MotionEye)Cons- Not really a con but it is PoE only and has no power cable like previous modelsHighly recommend it.

Not an IP Camera. It works with a phone \ if you use it you have to buy a mnthly contract
Doesn't run on a NVR. UID registers as invalid on ipcam client, computer software. Doesn't work for24/7 monitoring system with pzt auto adjust video save/control Trecord, automated directional from desktop adjustment control ext... software search can't find the reolink camera hardwired with Cat6. These company's say everything is IP Camera whether it is or not at all even close to working on your ipcam system running free on your computer 24/7 as long as you pay data to your internet provider. Should work hardwired ethernet with no internet or data provider. worked outdoors covered two weeks. I looked at my phone maybe twice to see exactly the one direction it points adjusted outside by hand only , nothing motorized for desktop view adjusting

Very Capable Camera
I was a bit hesitant about purchasing a new camera at first, but I quickly moved past that once getting this thing all set up. First, set up was very easy. I am not using PoE (yet), but I have plenty of 12v power supplies laying around. Make sure you get one that can provide plenty of current (I can't say a minimum as the one I'm using can provide 30A max, so...). Getting a RTSP stream was easy once I figured out how I'm supposed to do it. Make sure you download the REOLink client app if you're interested in streaming. The mobile app is good for most users, I would think, but my plan involves OBS and FTP. Very clear picture quality, but that will also depend on your home network. I plan on moving away from the app and setting up a closed circuit system, with the only outside access to the video feed being the software that's getting video from the camera.Currently, using OBS for any streaming, and TrueNAS for FTP. Need to mess with detection settings and all that, but I think it's a very capable camera for a very affordable price. Planning on purchasing a few more to complete a good home surveillance setup.
