If your looking for a weld type glove but short these are perfect and made well.
5 stars because they are what I was looking for: gloves without elastic or Velcro, both of which serve zero purpose other than being annoying on gloves. If you wear XL these though think will fit like a tig welding glove aka snug but honestly there were molded just for me. thick leather, stitched well and a very nice liner. After they stretch they will be perfect. I have normal hands on the bigger side. If you have big hands these will not fit you. Why did I buy them: grilling/cooking, I find all the expensive high heat gloves suck compared to welding gloves both at handling heat and grip and dexterity.

Great pair of gloves
My son using these for welding in high school. They work great he said. He got his first certification at the age of 14 with these. Comfortable and stylish

Heavy duty, thick leather
This is tentative because i haven't yet worked with these gloves. But they are thick, and extremely durable in feel!I'm really looking forward to using them with SMAW & FCAW.I'll update if anything changes.Update: I welded with these today and they performed great! I have zero complaints about them.I would really only find them useful as heavy welding gloves. They're very sturdy, which reduces dexterity. That's what I want for heavy welding, though.I will absolutely but then again!

Work great for fire pits!
Im actually using these for my fire pit. I wanted a pair of gloves to help keep me safe when adding wood or stoking the fire, but I didn't want the full length ones that most companies sell. Absolutely stoked to find these shorter length gloves!! They work great and are my go-to (I also have a pair of the longer ones but they rarely get used now that these are in the mix). HIGHLY recommend!!

Nice, cheap gloves, but one didn't fit right.
Gloves seem nice, but didn't keep them. Intended to use the for welding and grinding work. Ordered XL, which may have been a little too big. However, while one glove was comfortable to wear (albeit a little oversize), the other glove was tight around the base of my ring and middle finger, and rather uncomfortable. It made it tougher to grip things, particularly the welding gun. I've become a fan of YesWelder wire recently, so I thought I'd give them a try. I may order a Large pair to see if there's improvement. Price is right, but maybe I need to try another pair to see if the fitment issue was isolated.

Decent feeling gloves
These gloves hit well north of their price tag. I'm sure that I will burn them up with time but they feel good and seem to be built quite well for the price point. I would definitely buy them again as needed.
