Going to pot my herb terrarium for winter

I purchased this item to pot some plants that were in my office. After potting the plants, a couple of days later when I went into my office, it was swarming with gnats and more from the soil mix. In a week, I used a package of 25 sticky traps (that you insert in the soil) and a Katchy Indoor Insect Trap which caught about 50-100 a day. At the end of the week, I discarded the soil and put the plants back in a vase with water. Since the discarded the soil, I have not see anymore gnats. Unfortunately, I can't get my money back because I had discarded the package and soil.

The media could not be loaded. Got my bag of soil. I tried clicking Thru for the warranty on it but the link goes nowhere. The date today is 11/12/22 and there is a date on the bag 4/19/22. I cannot locate explanation. The bag was taped closed but the Amazon label says NEW. Concerned about pests in dirt. Using to grow cat grass.

I haven’t experienced any bugs but it has great drainage for houseplants & all of my plants are thriving very well.

This is the best priced dirt on Amazon. I have ran I to issues using store bought potting soil because it usually has fungus gnat eggs in it and other pests but this dirt seems a lot more stable. I still sterilize my dirt in the oven before I pot it but you can tell this soil is much better than MiracleGro which is filled with pests.

Very good product, but is too expensive for me with all my plants.
