As part of the annual fish pond maintenance, you need to cover it to help reduce the number of leaves from getting into it. The net typically comes with fewer stakes than needed. And as often is the case some of the original stakes get misplaced. I found these to be a perfect replacement for those that were lost and the additional stake’s provided gave additional capabilities to secure the net further. They are cost effective, sturdy and come in a resealable plastic pouch. My only gripe which I suspect is not something that can be fixed is the protrusions that assist in keeping the stakes in the ground. They make it difficult to remove from the netting at times. Otherwise, well worth the cost.

The stakes were not very strong. My flower bed has soft soil (I could push in the stake in the ground easily by my palm), but they still broke easily. I lost over 20% stakes during the course of anchoring a 12’x20‘ ground cover.

We lost many of the plastic anchor pins for our slip-n-slide. This product was the best and most economical solution to replace them. The barbs were not desired since the pins need to come out easily, but they were easily removed with a utility or pocket knife. The result was a near perfect match to the original pins.

Sharp pointed ends easily pushed through garden fabric and teeth help keep the spikes in place. Large head made it easier to either push in or hammer in. I will buy these again in the future as they are easier to use than the metal spikes.

I used these to hold down some industrial plastic for a slip and slide, the ground wasn't soaking wet, but it wasn't dry either which is why it surprised me that they had such a hard time going in. A few had the heads break off while driving them in with a hammer (Rubber mallet may have worked better, but who has that lying around), and a few bent pretty bad in the process as well.I had it out for about 48 hours and anytime there was a strong breeze it would pull the steaks out, sometimes breaking off the tops in the process too.Order many more than you expect to need and anchor with more than you think are necessary and you should avoid most of my headaches!
