When I bought 2 of these I thought I was buying a replacement Microsoft power supply for a Surface Pro 8.They are from a company called KSW Kingdo.I should have read more carefully and thought about ANYTHING from Microsoft being that inexpensive.They came the next day with a cute little zip case, and come with an interesting attachment that connects directly to a wall socket instead of a cord.The Surface likes them fine, and other than both of them working perfectly out of the box I have no long term concept of reliability.Alls I DO know is that the one that came from Microsoft failed in less than a year, so they don't have a high bar to beat as to longevity.Also, I did order an actual Microsoft version that won't be here for almost a month.When it gets here, I'll bet it doesn't have a supportive statement on it like the folks at KSW Kindo, which is..."Keep your happy mood every day!"With a happy face emoticon.Overall glad I made the mistake

Came in a nice bag I don't use. Very long cable. I've had it a month or so, seems durable. The best part is the wall adapter that allows me to effectively cut the length in half when a charge port is close by. Very convenient.

I had been searching all over for a Microsoft brand charger, I bought a used one like new from amazon and it was 70+ with tax, and it did not work. I had to fumble with the cord to get it to work. I was scared to go off brand because of previous reviews. I have tested this charger multiple times, it does not make my mouse jump, the quality of the charger is similar to the Microsoft brand. I appreciate the travel case, it makes it convenient, easy for storage and protects my charger from harm. I read reviews saying that it would over heat, I checked my charger while charging and when done charging, it never changed in temperature. It was mildly warm but never hot. I also find that it is charging my laptop faster compared to the Microsoft one I purchased and the Microsoft one was actually heating up my laptop and the charger was hot as well. I highly recommend if you need to save some money, I will update as I continue to use.

Only have had a couple months, but so far it works as good as the original - yet more compact, and - I have a feeling - sturdier in the long run. Let's face it, the MSFT originals don't last very long. Hoping this is better - but at the lower cost of these it's not that big a deal. Definitely great for traveling with its nice little included pouch.
