Lexivon Multi-Purpose Soldering Kit - Worth Every Penny!
Move over Snap-on tools, Lexivon has it right! The price of this kit gives me the freedom to buy more of their quality tools without waiting months to purchase another tool guilt free. Finally, I can buy the tools I need one after the other without breaking the bank. The soldering kit is in a well-built case that's perfectly shadow boxed for the torch and accessories. The instructions are clear and straightforward - no confusion, just smiles! They even offer an extended 2-year warranty with registration, which was super easy to do.After I registered my soldering kit, I checked out their website briefly. I was really impressed by how user-friendly it was. Whether you're looking through their products or trying to find your product's user manual, everything's right there and easy to find.I could tell right away after opening my shipping box that this company values their customers and wants to give them the best experience possible. Owning a business myself, I know that there is a lot of time and effort that goes into creating a website that's user friendly and I can only imagine the same goes with developing a product that hits all the marks your customers are hoping for. Lexivon nailed it!I honestly can't express how impressed I am by this product, especially considering the price I paid for it. I really hope they continue to create affordable quality products so I can keep filling my toolbox with them!Would have attached a photo but for some reason it wouldn't work.Thank you Lexivon and great job!!!

Nice little kit
Great little add for the truck tool kit. Love the portability and all the tips work great. Quality kit for the money. This thing will get so hot Satan will not want to touch it.

Good tool but tricky to fill
I have a mobile auto repair business so this is very handy when needed. It has a pretty fast heat up time, it's pretty light easy handling and is especially nice not having a power cord. One thing though is the butane fill port needs a special adapter to work with most butane fill bottles. I am still looking for an adapter that will fill without letting gas escape. I get enough in to make the tool work but it's still a bit of a pain. The case with all the different tips is really nice also.

Wonderful for heat shrink - worked great for 2 years
This thing is great. I used the heat gun attachment most of the time for heat shrink. This thing put down way more hot air than a similar model Bernzomatic that cost twice as much. Very happy with it, but could have done without the safety latch. I am guessing the safety is a big brother gov requirement, but I did remove it by unscrewing the cover at the top and carefully reassembled. It lived in a shop with zero kids around and plenty hazards way worse then a butane torch. Please note I used past tense. Just yesterday the ignition pooped the bed - but it is almost 2 years old now and I used it probably 10 times a day, each for 60 seconds, at about 2 or 3 days per week - so whatever that breaks down to - 30 minutes run time per week. I am pretty sure I beat the snot out of it. The metal and shields got really hot.I am still pretty happy. I am wondering if the excess heat from the hot air attachment cooked part of the ignition system. BUT for $39 I'll just buy another. Luckily I had a backup at home bc I liked it so much I bought one for my personal tool chest. There are other butane heat guns out there (a one red one which I really like, has a flex head, but it's too big and hot for small stuff) but good ones are north of $70 and they don't throw down as much hot air.Again, the Bernzomatic is nice, but it was over twice the price and doesn't throw down a lot of hot air. To heat shrink 2 each 24 AWG wires, it takes 2 to 3 times longer to shrink with the Bernz model. I'd take this product over the Bernz any day. Can't beat it for the price either.

Leaking Tank after very light use.
Let me first start by saying that I really like this tool. It makes small solder projects convenient as you don't need to be plugged in. With that said, I have only needed to use this unit a handful of times since I bought it. I have noticed that the tank is always empty when I go to use it. I chalked it up to me not filling it up all the way but went to use it yesterday and the lighting was just right, over my head and I could see the "fume" shadow coming out of the iron near the middle. I shut it off, let it cool down and filled it once again and put it up to my ear and can definitely hear the gas leaking out right where the temperature adjustment lever is located. I looked all over for a "Contact Seller" link but couldn't find it. Was hoping that there is a repair/replacement path as I really don't need to purchase a whole other kit as you can see from the image, I have barely used the hardware it comes with. I have read other reviews of people saying that Lexivon customer service is excellent. I am hoping to experience the same thing.
