Junk - A Ripoff!
Cat 5 performance at a cat 6 price. Won't do 100 mbs. The last test was 48 mbs. Waited 12 days for this to arrive and it isn't any better than the cat 5 cable I threw away. I won't buy anything from this seller ever again. I have a 35 ft. cat 6 and a 10 ft. cat 6 with a coupler that does 236 mbs. This is a ripoff. Update: These idiots contacted me and asked if I would take down my review just "Because". I want to advise people who are looking for a cable that will accept modern internet speeds that the cable I received was not as advertised and a "refund" wasn't worth the 12 days I waited for this to be delivered. The time it took to install this behind furniture with cable holders isn't worth a "Thanks for Playing!" from these idiots.

Capped at 100Mbps, don't order! (tested thoroughly)
DO NOT BUY THESE. I bought three of them, and not ONE of them will run at 1Gbps speed; they all cap at 100Mbps. I tested all three cables across two different switches AND two different computers. I use one of my regular existing cables; auto-negotiates at 1Gbps, no problem. I even tried three spare shorter cables I have and they all work at 1Gbps no problem on both my desktop and laptop. Even forcing 1Gbps full duplex mode on the NICs of both computers with these cables fails.Amazon also tells me this item is ineligible for return. Fantastic. I wasted the price of three of these cables. Very much NOT happy. Also in case anyone's thinking I did something wrong; NOPE. I tested these on the same exact port of my switch and also an Asus router, both of which feed 1Gbps to other computers and devices on the SAME ports I tested these cables with. They are absolutely defective, or at least the batch I received are.EDIT: Amazon chat support refunded this purchase instantly without requiring me to send it back, so good on them; disregard the part of the review where I complain about not being able to return the item. :) Still completely ignore this item and seller, however.

I could have done fine with 50 foot even
Let me start out with saying, 75 feet is LONG. I could have done fine with 50 foot even. I needed to run the cable from the office in my house, through a wall and then under carpet 2 rooms down. That is kind of hard to measure so I went for a longer length.Needless to say tho the actual quality of the cable is VERY high. It is not very flexible but for very good reason! It will not bend or break or mess up a wire inside the cord as easily as my other cords. I can already tell the different in Cat5 and Cat6. This Cat6 has a faster transfer rate then my Cat5 I had used for my computer. The signal is good through the cable and I would highly recommend this to others.Reason for buying:Bought the same one on Newegg, shipping was going not arrive untill Monday over the weekend when I needed it asap for my needs. So I ordered the same one over Amazon and one day shipped it.

Not very fast
I compared with wifi uploads and with Cat6 Ethernet cable connected, this cable is much slower than wifi. With wifi upload was 7.8 mbps compared to cable was 6.7mbps.

Stupid me assumed that it was functional
I ordered 75" of this cable. Stupid me assumed that it was functional, SO I ran it across my apartment, and guess what? It was useless. I had a comp tech look at it, and of course it was defective. I left several messages with the seller, requesting a refund, BUT the seller refuses to acknowledge me. I HAD to give this seller 1 start, to be able to post this. 1 star is generous, and I'm forced to give it. Steer clear of this!!!!!!!!!

Working great for me!
Seems to be a good product based on my experience. I decided purchase this brand of cable after reading through the reviews.I ran 100 feet of this cable from my router on my second story, up through the attic, and then down to a Fire TV on my first story. Really improved the performance of the Fire TV.So when i needed 50 feet for a run to another first story TV, I went with this same cable, running it behind some crown molding. Again it was a fairly painless process and I'm getting a great signal using this cable.I was careful to treat the cable gently while fishing it through the house, and made sure not to kink it at all. And of course I only ran it through the interior of the house. The price is right, so I wouldn't hesitate to buy this brand of cable again.

Good construction; does the job just fine
I ordered this cable to replace a dying Cat-5e 100 ft. cable. Installation was unremarkable (it's an ethernet cable, after all -- plug it in on both ends and you're done, and it either works or it doesn't) and trouble-free. With the old cable, the host and switch rarely negotiated a full gigabit link; with this one, we've reliably observed gigabit links during every test. The cable's exterior sheath is soft and matte, not shiny and rigid like most ethernet cables I've come across over the years. It was easier to grip and handle as we ran the cable from the switch, through the house and over to the target PC; the protective cover on each end prevents bending and breaking off the connector's locking tab without interfering with its operation when needed.Pros:- Works as advertised (signalling was tested briefly at 10 gigabit with no issues observed; normal operation for this cable for us has been at gigabit, again with no issues)- Soft, non-slick matte exterior sheath protects the cable and ensures easy roll-up for storage without knots and tangles- Cheaper than Monoprice (as of this writing; your milage may vary)Cons:- None so far
