This thing is so helpful. I can prepare a pomegranate so much quicker and more efficiently. I had to watch videos on this one and also other brands before I knew the best way but it worked. The blade on this is sharp. I just cut it in half and pull apart, I cut slits throughout, turn it face down on the tool over a bowl, and hit with a wooden spoon.

Love that it scores the skin. Pomegranate is easy to pull apart without cutting into the seeds. The juice stains everything - nice to minimize the mess. Awesome little too that makes eating pomegranates seeds easier. Purchased several and give them away with pomegranates from my trees. People love getting them.

A little messy, it helps to use a bowl that fits the circumference rather than one that merely reaches the handles and leaves a gap. It lets you do multiple pomegranates in the time it takes to do one by hand.

If you love smashed seeds, get this! I hated it... still had to pick out the seeds. Maybe because I didn’t want to smash the seeds so bad that I also didn’t want to strike the shell hard, but at one point I did out of anger and a lot of “screw it...” and the de-seeder simply cut through the rind, leaving all the seeds stuck to the rind it cut off. Seems completely pointless to me...

Well made, sturdy, sharp blades. Easy to use, easy to wash.

Been a few cuts using this and from just taking it out of the drawer by myself and my teenagers. So do be careful.

The media could not be loaded.  Sure, it worked. With minimal physical effort it neatly sliced up apples. It does what it’s supposed to do; but really, who needs it? Then after a few days it suddenly seemed barbaric to just pick up an apple and bite into it. I got used to it and I like having it around to make eating an apple into a more classy act.It’s quite big so you have to give up quite a lot of drawer space. That’s about the only complaint I have.

Wow - I can't believe I have never thought to use one of these before now.My children eat a lot of apples and to prevent wastage I always cut them up. This makes that process so quick and less messy.It is easy to use, cuts effectively and easy to clean.Fab!
