perfect. not much else to say about a peghook.

I bought these hoping to hang small tools, paintbrushes and the like on them. These hooks are made from full 1/4" wire and fit snugly into a pegboard with 1/4" holes. Their major drawback is that there is a ball welded to the end of the hook which is larger that the hook wire itself, and that ball makes hanging things like paint brushes and small tools difficult as ofter the holes in the handles are 1/4" or smaller. I've fixed a couple of these hooks by grinding off the tips, so that 1/4" holes will fit onto them. Otherwise these hooks are sturdy and well made, hence four instead of 5 stars.

I love my new peg board system. The fancy pegboards made from metal or high strength plastics were too expensive. I purchased two big, 4'x8' sheets of old-fashioned peg board from a local store. However, the pegboard hooks they had in stock just wouldn't work for me. They had short ones that were 1/8" (not strong enough) or 1/4" ones with lengths of 6" or longer. I am not using my pegboard in a store. I don't want to hang a whole bunch of stuff on a single hook! These hooks are just perfect. I can use a single hook to hand a couple trowels or a dust pan using the hole on the handle. Or I can use 2 hooks to hold both my shovels (round-nosed and square). The peg board is sooo much better than one of those new-fangled wall track systems. This Amazon listing is for a whole bag full of hooks, but I used two bags! One of these 4" single hooks and a smaller bag of 4" double hooks. It is amazing how many things I can fit on my 8'x8' pegboard wall. It feels like it is full, but when I find a new tool, it is simple to rearrange things a little and find more space. I even found bins to hold my gardening gloves.

Good quality and well made. I was a bit worried after reading some of the reviews here, but took a gamble on these as I didn't feel like paying $2/each at the orange box store. The batch I received was very well made (no weird off-center welds or odd bends), and they work great for my pegboard. They aren't true 1/4" thickness, but are actually better as they don't wiggle at all while still being easy to put in and take out. The only thing I don't like about them are the little balls at the tips- I guess some folks out there might need the potential safety benefit, but all they do for me is get in the way of hanging smaller items. But it was clearly spelled out on the product desc, so can't fault them for it.

These hangers worked perfectly for me. I used them on my (very) old peg board, so old that the 1/4 inch holes are quite fuzzy from use and from moisture absorption. I have hung the rest of the tools as I have wanted for quite some time--drills, screw gun, hand planes, etc.That said, I should point out that these pegs measure 3/16" diameter, not 1/4". That actually made it easier for me as I didn't have to tap them home with a hammer, yet they hold in place when I remove the tools. I might have knocked off a star for their indication of 1/4" except that, in the end, they work fine for me!I will also point out that the support prong is not perpendicular to the peg board, but sits at about 85 degrees upward. Again, that worked perfectly for me, but if one wanted to use them for a shelf support, for example, it would be disappointing.

Welded perfectly. Everything was straight and even. Worked perfectly with my pegboard and I appreciated the little ball at the end. These are great quality. Nice and strong.

Way better than the ones you buy in retail stores. I will definitely purchase again.
