POSITIV Andy Macdonald Monster Series Skateboard

My son got this for Christmas and absolutely loves it! He's 8yrs old and I believe he will be able to use this for at least a couple of yrs. My oldest son (22 yrs old) was into skateboarding for many yrs so I know, kind of, the good boards vs the cheap ones. This board seems to be a well made board. It's definitely better than the one he originally asked for. He's very pleased so that's all that matters! Also, it arrived much sooner than was promised when it was ordered. Very satisfied!

The deck seems to be of good quality but the rest of the components aren't great. My biggest complaint would have to be the trucks; they seem flimsy and of poor quality. The board felt unstable under turning even after tightening the bushings pretty far down. Ended up replacing them with Independent trucks and some new bearings and is now a quality board.

Very nice product for the money. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because the trucks and wheels do not match product description. They are Mini Logo not Positiv. Other than that this is a super deal for the money! In the end Amazon was MORE than helpfull making this purchase worth my time and money. Great customer support.

The description says the board would come with positive truck and wheels, the one I received came with mini logo trucks and wheels. The wheels are described as 99a and they were actually 101a. The board is described as 8in width and it's not. Overall this board is a great value, great for beginners. I just don't like the deceiving descriptions that's why I gave it a 2 star

Bought this board for my 9-yr old son. Seems just right for him. I read somewhere that something smaller would be more fitting for a kids his age, but this seems like a great fit. Anything skinnier would have been hard to ride on without constantly turning.I like this board bc it comes from a reputable name (Andy MacDonald) and the graphics. Thanks for having some images that are not skulls, something pot-related, of scantily clad girls (95% of board graphics).

The skateboard was definitely well built especially for the price. The rice was very reasonable for a nice beginner board (for a child). The width of the board which is very important was misrepresented. It was stated at 8" and was actually 7 1/2".

The board as a whole is great but I'm only giving it a 4 star because the description was inaccurate. The trucks, wheels and bearings did not match the description as posted. I saw another buyer had the same issue with this so I kind of expected it. It's for my 11yr old son and he didn't really care about all that so it's not really that big a deal. As I said though, over all a great setup.

I don't know anything about skateboards but in doing my online research I found that buying one from Walmart or one made for kids was a bad idea. This particular brand was actually recommended by a site and it was on sale. For the 40 something dollars I paid for it so far so good. I know there were some other reviews about the wheels and trucks but whatever, my daughter is only 8 and learning on a decent board. She has had no complaints.
