Fulfilled its task
I'm not sure how to begin this review, but for those want my bottom line first: I think this is a great product. Now for more detail!I bought the Capricorn version, mainly because I am one. Hehehe The build quality is excellent; it feels sturdy enough and everything fits together nicely. I have only two minor faults to note here, but one might develop into something later. For one, when sliding the blue plate to close the drive compartment, one of the transistor-like components on the back side of the circuit board made contact with the plate, making it harder to slide shut. It shouldn't come into contact with that plate because who knows if the pressure of sliding it back and forth if you need to change drives often will eventually break it. Maybe just an issue of correctly seating the circuit board? Not ideal, in any case. That being said, it didn't impact the functionality as far as I could tell. Second minor gripe: one of the mounting screw holes had some not-so-cooperative threading. When actually using the device, there were no issues. The provided cable worked and the clone operation I was performing went really quickly: 11 minutes to clone a roughly half-full 256GB drive to a 1TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus (for those that care). Seems fast enough if write speeds matter to you. Your experience might differ. When cloning, the casing did get slightly warm to the touch, but that's what I wanted it to do. Didn't have any issues with thermals since it seemed to do its job of dissipating the heat (have to applaud their provided gel squares too).Disassembly was equally easy. Not sure if that's what it's for, but there is a rectangular gap in the circuit board that I used to pry up the board with a prybar (or spudger, if you like).Miscellany: my enclosure came with 5 screws, even though you only need 4 to install everything and secure the sliding plate. I'd like to think they did that on purpose, just in case one of them has bad threading or something. There is an extra silver standoff post for drives shorter than the 2280 form factor, but they don't have any instructions on how to install it as far as I could see. They should consider putting something about it on another instruction insert.I'll stop there and reiterate my verdict: excellent enclosure that did what I wanted it to.

Adapter worked good
The drive does not show up in explorer. I needed it to clone another drive. It worked well for this. I gave a 4 star because of this. If you wanted to use this as an external drive, You would probably want the drive to show up in explorer. There may be an easy way to make this happen, but I just needed the clone, so I did not look into it.

Ideal Solution
After upgrading the M.2 NVME board in my laptop, I got this enclosure to use to make my files available to transfer to the new drive. If you have the ability to open the back of your laptop to replace an M.2 NVME drive, you won't have any problem putting the old board into this enclosure.

Perhaps the best NVME enclosure available!
Seems like a great NVME enclosure. I haven't had any issues so far! I'll update my review if anything changes, but so far very impressed! One complaint is that it doesn't come with a short USB-C cable. You can't get the full speed with the included USB3.0 cable.

Does not work with AHCI blades
I saw reference to using AHCI in the images, but no matter what AHCI drive I use, it doesn't work. So clearly the unit doesn't support AHCI drives, despite the 4th images showing that it does. I tried 4 different ACHI blades, and nothing worked,

USB stalls from drawing too much current?
I'm having problems using this device at highest sustained speeds -- the USB function seems to stall and I've even seen DRIVER_POWER_STATE_FAILURE blue screens in Windows. What's the peak current draw of this device with a 1 or 2TB Samsung 970 EVO? Perhaps it needs an option to plug in a dedicated DC supply.

Love It!
This is a very nice case of machined metal (aluminum). Well designed with a self-storing USB cable included.

Light, practical and FAST.
I get 1.5Gb/s transfer speeds, using an Evo 970 plus drive, through USB 3.1 port. Great transfer device for large files.

Well made handy bit of kit!
Bought this as I wanted to clone my Hard Drive to a larger drive. I was impressed at the way the unit was designed so it stored the cable into the body. The enclosure is very well engineered. The blue cover has one screw and glides open giving you access to the area for the NvMe SSD to be fitted onto the interface board. It's design take all physical sizes which is great as I now use it at work for cloning SSD's of different sizes. This is a solid and simple bit of kit. My boss just ordered some more for work!

Works great with NVMe SSD for 10Gb/sec bandwidth
Works great. Installer an old NVMe SSD from my laptop in it. Happily got about 1GB/sec read speed off it using USB 10Gb/sec interface (obviously also works fine with non 10Gb USB, but will be limited to the interface speed of your computer's port). For the tech-hewds out there, supports UASP (USB Attached SCSI), which means it can sustain high transfer speeds without putting excessive bload on your CPU.Casing is rock-solid and all-metal, helping dissipate heat if your SSD gets warn.Comes with USB-A to USB-C cable (USC-C plugs into SSD). The cable folds neatly into slot in the side of the SSD enclosure.

Great quality and reasonable price
Great quality bit of kit for the money. Little screws will no doubt get lost but not a big deal
