It barely lifted off the floor. I changed the batteries with new ones and it still had hardly any lift. I refused to let the kids use it for more than a few token minutes--I was worried they would scrap up the wood floor. Maybe the one we got was defective. I didn't bother returning it cause it is so cheap and we had ripped up the packaging while opening it.

This is fairly lame. It works only on completely flat surfaces, ie. hardwood floors; on ceramic tile, not so much...goes much slower and gets hung up.Maybe my expectations were too high.

Got for 3yr old grandson for Christmas very durable he even sat on it to hide from mom. They played forever with it that day. Laughing great for in the house on a cold winter day. Was a perfect gift. My daughter couldn't wait for him to open it. They were hysterical with it.

First of all the box had obviously already been opened and had probably been returned previously. This hover ball did NOT hover, it just blew a little air. It was no fun to play with. I used brand new batteries I had just purchased the same day so it was not due to the batteries. Very disappointing, especially since I wanted to use it as a party game tomorrow.

Broke the in the first use. If this is meant to be kicked, it wasn't designed to hold up to wear and tear. It wasn't built to last one day. The lights worked and looked cool and the hover feature worked fine.

The kids have a lot of fun with this.... they have so many toys from Christmas already kind of cast aside... this comes out at least once a day! It works great on the hardwood floor!

I just received this, plugged in the batteries and tried it out on a perfectly smooth gym floor. It doesn't hover very well, and it scrapes the floor even though the floor I'm testing it on is perfectly smooth. I can't imagine that it will take more than 15 minutes to break this thing with my little girls kicking it - it seems very cheaply made. $18 is too much for this toy.

I ordered two for my grandsons for Christmas. One worked but the other did not. The lights came on but the air did not blow so it would not work. I would like to return it but since I ordered it a while ago for a gift and did not open it until now, the window for returns had expired. Very disappointing.
