Don't waste your money
This units stinks! I wish I could only give 0 stars!The device is pretty easy to use, but sound quality coming from cassette tapes is horrendous. Songs sound as if they are being played in a phone booth, and are not crisp and clear. Musically, not even all the sound is coming through. Biggest reason I can see is that the cassettes don't fit snugly inside, and the heads don't get full pressure against the actual tape as it reads it. I thought maybe it was just the age of the cassettes, but when I put them in any other player (home deck, boom box, Sony Walkman) they sounded great. I also got a whining sound that overrode the music in a few instances.I picked this unit because of the multiple five star reviews. What a mistake! I will now return this piece of crap and download the songs that are on my cassette tapes from the internet.

Don't opt for battery power!
This device is a battery hog. Even my Duracell batteries failed too soon. If you are recording an entire cassette tape, you will run low on battery power before you finish. When that happens, the cassette will not "reel" evenly, resulting in skips in your recording. Fortunately, it comes with a power adapter cord, and I recommend you plug the cord into a USB wall outlet block adapter for the most power.

Works as described
It works very good. Not sure how long it will last as it is plastic but it does exactly what it says it will do.

Wastage of money and time on this junky device
worst cassette player! First it does not play a song that a cassette player should do it's job.Second it does not convert the song into mp3. I suggest not to waste a penny on this device.Zero rating for this item.
