I enjoyed this a lot although like other reviewers mentioned I felt the circus where Lucy was performing was a little far fetched, however the story is full of twists and turns. I like the way the author brings all the threads of the story together and I do like her characters very much. This is the third Dilly Court novel I have read and enjoy them a lot as she makes them very easy to read and very interesting.

I didn't want to put this book down it was a fantastic read.A rollercoaster of emotions that you won't regret purchasing.

I really enjoyed about a third of this book, & then when the main character grew up it just became ludicrous. Joining the circus was so ridiculous & far fetched. I did finish it but for me after such a good start it was downhill all the way.

Have just started o read silly court books. I am really pleased I have. They are very entertaining. There are lots of of turns in the plots to keep you guessing and I found them hard to put down. They are on a par with several of my favourite author I am so pleased I have found her.

Good story line ,kept the interest going. Would recommend to my brother in law ,he likes Dilly Court books.. True to life.

I'm running out of words and books from Dilly I have never enjoyed reading so much as I have in the last 5 months I am a slow reader due to my dyslexia but since picking up a Dilly Court book it's improved considerably so a big thank you. X

Love Dilly court books and this one didn't disappoint will read again at some stage. The story takes you on a journey. When Lucy lost her home ect to her nasty uncle you feel for her as if it's happening to you. And the end is a happy one. Especially when she ends up with Bram.
