Drillco hexagon rethreading die is precision high carbon steel dies. Rethreading die is extra thick to permit user to rethread damaged or jammed threads and are not intended for producing new threads on unthreaded bar, bolts, or pipes. Get a better quality one
Dislike.I was chasing threads already on a steel shaft and got down only an inch and it does not go any further.Garbage to me.Will need to get a better higher quality thread chaser.Garbage.. basura.... kaput.... caca....junk.

Works great for rethreading
Worked great to repair threads on my BMW front struts which some gorilla with an air gun had damaged so a nut would no longer screw on properly.Use with cutting oil.
