Get lost in this period fatasy.
I loved this book as it immersed me in a other time and place. The descriptions of the gowns and the ballrooms painted a breathtaking scene in my mind.

Dull,dull,dull
If this had been the first dilly court book I read I would never bother picking up another.I normally enjoy this genre of fiction (family saga). This story never really took off for me.the storyline was very dull and thin.the characters were dismal with no dimensions.

Not my favourite
I usually enjoy Dilly Court books but I'm near the end of Cinderella sister and I've had to persevere with this one. It's not my favourite.

Fantastic story
Lovely story, It had me smiling, crying, feeling frustrated with some of the characters, loved the twist and turns on every page. Dilly writes in a way that has the reader living the story. I just cant wait for the next book.
