Great little set for beginners and experienced fishermen alike!
I was advised to buy this by a fisherman who knows I don't have very much fishing experience. After seeing the quality of this product, he's thinking of buying his own for the odd inpromptu fishing trips.Not used yet but very pleased with the quality and value for money this great little set gives.

Cannot to wrong for the price - handy bit of kit.
Bought this to add to my carp fishing equipment as a short rod for stalking through trees etc. Used it all day last week and caught nearly 100 fish (up to 8lb). Plenty of bend on the rod, easy to cast, good quality product and the reel was spot on too. Cannot go wrong with this for the price. Packs away to a very short rod which can attach to a rucksack etc making it very easy to move from spot to spot with.

Not suitable for pike fishing
The rod is heavy and the line is too thick. These make it hard to cast a lure at a long distance for pikes or any other predator.

If your looking for a good travel rod you cant get much better
Wanted a rod I could take anywhere with me and was reliable.... I have caught large pike to large carb on this rod with no problems! If your looking for a good travel rod you cant get much better!
