I specifically got these lights because of the timer. I got three strings to decorate my front porch. None of them have a timer.

When I use the timer, the lights stay on for 6 hours. Have to change the batteries every 10 days, so use rechargeable batteries. All the combos flash the lights, there isn't a twinkling combo. I bought it for my deck rail.

These are great lights to areas you don’t want to run an extension cord. The timer is easy to use and they are reliable. My only issue is that some light strands have more lights on them. You can see in my picture, I have two strands starting at the top of the roof and the left side lights end before the right. The strands are the same length however.

I used these lights to wrap a Christmas wreath on our front door. The lights look amazing on the wreath and the battery pack timer hides well in the greenery of the wreath. The photo cell turns the lights on the last setting you left them on and runs until time expires. Batteries lasted about 3 weeks and require 3 AA BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED. Very happy with the product and functionality of these lights. I have them set to stead on but there are a total of eight settings gs to choose from.

We have no outside outlets due to the age of our house. Put these on garlands around front porch. Love them! Survived a snow storm with no problems. Timer function great so I don't have to go out and turn them on and off in the cold. Lots of choices on how the lights are on or blinking, etc. Believe I put them up mid November and replaced batteries twice. They are still up and still going (a little dimmer) but still going. Highly recommend!

The timer function didn’t really work on the product, but there are several different modes you can choose from. They were easy to hang and looked very festive in my window which is nowhere near an outlet. Worth the money for a nice decoration!

These lights were good for the price,and convenience. The timer was really convenient. The lights came on at the set time, and stayed on for about six hours, but you can flip the switch to on,and they will stay on all night,but of course you will have to change the batteries more, and with them being battery powered made it worry free about an electrical bill, I only had to change the batteries once. The choice of multiple sequences were great. The lights could have been a little brighter, and the bulbs a little larger, but they did the job well. I think I will buy a couple more pair for next year.

Wonderfully bright and stay cool to the touch. Could be used inside or outside, and the timer function works well! Only downside is they are a bit pricey, but they seem to be worth it thus far
