The book was fine, it helped me a lot, cleared in the first shot...the CD was cracked with the original copy, returned it, then got another cracked CD, didnt have time or patience to return..HORRIBLE packaging for a soft cover book that has a CD. It comes only in the regular plastic wrapping from Amazon...it should at least have come with a cardboard box! Common sense...No way the CD is going to come without scratches/breaks

Wendell has gone in depth to describe every topic related to ICND 1 , accompanied with suitable example to fit it in your memory.Include mind-maps ,important task to do at the end of the chapter to fill the knowledge gaps.I would recommend this to everyone who is preparing to jump into the world of cisco networking ..Welcome to the cisco.

I am working as a Cisco CCNA & CCNP trainer over a period of 12 years in TANDEM, Trivandrum, Kerala. In my experience its the best test for network aspirant students to gather proper information as a beginner and it covers vast topics and over all its a genuine worthfull product.

I am currently studying CCNA course, and my instructor suggested me this book. I found this book is written in very easy language to understand and also the key topic section is also helpful to get practical knowledge.

You don't get enough confidence without reading the book, because it's official. ;)Did not read it much but can say that this book is more of theory, and less of problem. So good for concepts.You can go for Todd Lammle also.

Clear picture of CCENT 1 and 2 exam. Very helpful for the preparation.It should be 1% more focussed on EXAM topics.
