Gardman A04246 Flip Top Suet Feeder Bird, Multi-Colour, 350 g

This is a simple suet block holder which works well and is very sturdy to stop the squirrels from getting it open or destroying it.

Easy to use. Sturdy build quality - thicker steel hoops make it easier for the birds to cling on whilst feeding. The plastic flap on the top of the feeder clicks open for inserting blocks of feed, and clicks shut again for deployment. Noticeable improvement in number of birds using this feeder, in preference to other block feeders with thinner gauge metal. Easy to clean when a new block is required.

This suet feeder is sturdy. However, the suet packs that I buy come in plastic containers. You cannot simply fit the plastic container with the suet feed in the suet feeder. You have to take the feed out of the container. I have found the mixture breaks down as you try to remove it and is very messy. Plus, you loose some of the feed. So, on the one hand it is definitely the best one I have bought to date as it is very sturdy but it would be perfect if you could just slide the suet pack in its container in the feeder. I have tried two different makes of suet feed squares and both are the same.

These are very easy to use, not messy as they are well proportioned and easy to close - we have a few and they work and last well

Not much to say: it's a plastic holder that does what it is designed to do. It works, it does the job, as you would expect from its description, although why they would want you to give 5 stars for such a mundane object is beyond me.It does its job, yes I would buy another one.

I already had one of these so purchased another one for my grandson so we could both do the Big Garden Birdwatch together on Facetime. I sent him a few suet blocks to fill it and he is still birdwatching now - perfect product, sturdy and easy to hang. Birds seem to love it too.

No assembly required . Weatherproof and sturdy. Highly recommend
