Same IWP format, less bulk
I really like this planner. It has the same format as the coiled IWP planner but is lighter weight and lesss bulky. A plus for me is that the font is much bigger! Some reviewers say the quality of paper is inferior to the other iwp products but I find it only slightly less heavy and still is fine with my Frixion pens and planner stickers.I also really like the cover; a sturdy plastic or vinyl. The whole thing is like carrying a spiral notebook around. Slips into my tote well; no worries of messing up a cardboard cover.

More Than A Planner; This Really Deserves TEN Stars
This 2019 Weekly and Monthly Planner from Inkwell Press is easily the most impressive planner I've ever seen, and I have owned a lot of planners. Each month has a full calendar, with plenty of room in daily boxes spread over two pages. The pages are 8.5" x 11", so you know they're quite large enough. As if that were not enough, each monthly calendar is followed by a weekly journal for that month, again spread over two pages, which affords plenty of room for social or business notations, or whatever else you may want to put in a planner. In between each monthly calendar and weekly journal is a "mission board", an extended "planner" and a "daily habit tracker". There are rotating color schemes for each month, which is just one of the innovations I loved.Inside the front cover is a sturdy plastic detachable bookmark and ruler. Plus, you can log into a website and get free productivity coaching videos, as well as downloads. The planner promises that the coaching videos are quick and simple. I didn't go there yet, but I believe them. The execution of this planner is absolutely amazing and I expect to really get a lot of practical use from it. The thought and planning that went into this product is clearly top notch, and I think I will be greatly upset if this planner is not available annually.Whoo-hoo! I finally found a planner that's up to my busy life! Very, very highly recommended.

The Perfect Sized Planner, With A Lot Of Extras
Having purchased Weekly/Monthly Planners for many years, I not only use them as Planners, but also as Journals, I know what I like, and what I don't like. This is the perfect size for that- 8 1/2" X 11". It also has to have each month on 2 pages, and adequate sized boxes to write in, which this one does, this one doesn't have all of the months up front together, it has the month right before the days of the week for that month. The days of the week are also spread over 2 pages, which I also like, and each day is lined, also a must have for me.I like that this planner goes from January to December, which to me is a full calendar year. I am not a fan of planners that start in the middle of the year.As a woman, I want to support women owned businesses, which this Inkwell Press 2019 Weekly/Monthly Planner is.The dark teal color is nice. It comes with a ruler/bookmark, but I usually use a binder clip to keep my place. The pages are a little thicker than the norm. One thing I don't like is that the part where the days of the week are, the dates need to be darker, easier to see. I think it's because the dates aren't in black, like they are for the months. I like the Notes part, perfect if you use Bill Pay to pay your bills, there is room to note the bill, when it was sent, the deliver by date, and the confirmation number. I do that for each bill I pay. There are also colored blocks to write in if you need to, for the days of the week. You can also record your goals and things like that, should you want to.This is a very well thought out Weekly/Monthly Planner.

Like the mission focus
I've seen a lot of planners of late given that we are heading to the end of the year. I think I do have a bias of late for simplified planners with just a few extras. I give extra points if a planner doesn't include 'contacts' pages because I never use those pages and it ends up a waste. The good news is that inkWELL Press 2019 Weekly & Monthly Planner doesn't have the 'contacts' pages so that earns a star already. I do like the font (a sort of ArtDeco font). The colors are soothing although the print is on the light side. Still readable, but I prefer the print a bit darker. The layout for weekly and monthly is functional with lots of space. The monthly spread has room to write for each day and has a Top 5 Goals section and a Notes section. Very simple and useful. It is followed by the mission focus page and notes/daily tracker. After that is the weekly pages which follows the horizontal format. Sometimes, I think I prefer horizontal format and sometimes, I'm into the vertical format but it just depends on what I'm using the particular planner for. This will probably be a to-do planner. The sections are big enough to write some to-dos per day (with notes) but not so large as to over-do it.There are set up tutorial videos on line at inkwellpress's website but you have to put in your name and email address prior to access so I passed on it for now. It seems pretty instinctive on how to use, but perhaps there are some tips on organization that may be worth looking at in the future. All in all, it is a nice planner. It has some nice extras but isn't too cluttered. I like the size and that it lays flat with a wire binding that doesn't get in the way of writing. It does have a higher price point than the standard office monthly/weekly planner, but if you like the look and the extras, it may be worth a look.
