Easy to use, sturdy and quiet
A great ext CD/DVD drive. It's easy to use - simply plug and play. It's sturdily built and looks nice with a brushed metal finish. Most importantly it's nice and quiet on playback. A great device and well worth the price.

Easy to set up and use and good value too
I was just looking for a basic CD drive to use for reading audio CDs so my requirements were not particularly demanding. This drive offered everything I needed (including the ability to write to discs) and was available for a very good price on a lightning deal so very happy.

You really do get what you pay for..
Thought it would be to good to be true, and sadly it was.The drive is very straightforward to use but unfortunately not consistent.I purchased this to load my CD collection onto my laptop and out of 30+ albums I have only successfully loaded 14.I must say that all my CD's are in perfect condition.Some of the successfully recognised CD's required me to eject the disk multiple times before the drive would recognise them at all.Overall a waste of time. Going to return and order another drive.

Smart and Compact
Arrived very quickly. The drive is smart looking, very easy to use... just connected via usb and away it went. The cable is short, but long enough, and stores away tidily in a groove on the bottom of the device, making it easy to pop in a drawer without cable flapping.

Great For MacBook
Bought a MacBook Pro, but wasn't ready to go dis free, just yet.This is a great replacement and so easy to use, very light and portable so fits in a drawer no problem allowing it to be readily accessible.

Easy to use for watching and as a burner
Honestly one of the best. It's cheap you can carry it anywhere. Mind you pressing on the cd on one of the pins in the middle with he cd than lay it down and it will hold it in place. Bought it for my digital drawing tablet because I didn't have a cd drive on my laptop. The usb cable is short but it is attached
