Alston Aluminum Lightweight Bicycle Pedals, Ultra Strong 9/16 inch Spindle for Road Mountain BMX Bike

I got these pedals to replace stock pedals on my son's new bike the he got for his birthday. On his very first ride, the pedal broke off at the spindle and caused him to crash. I watched it happen and it was horrifying. When i scraped my 8 year old son up from the asphalt, I noticed the broken pedal. The pedal fared much better than my son. He was covered in road rash. I certainly would not recommend these to anyone.

Great quality of product. Durable.

Slippery when wet n muddy but perfect when dry. Will do fine for cruising. Wouldn’t recommend for downhill

Good all around should last many months.
