Skeptical engineer is convinced
As an engineer I was a bit skeptical, so I popped on some blades and ran this on a bench at multiple angles for a while, even simulating a few (soft) blade impact by pushing a pillow up under while it was spinning. The quick swap works perfectly, you don't even need the prop nut! Makes it trivially easy to just push the little button on top and pull the blades in two seconds before working on the quad. You know how the propellers all have warnings that say "Never service aircraft with blades attached" ? Well, now you can actually heed those warnings because it's trivial to remove and replace the blades.Motors also appear well built. Solid frame and good tolerances. I threw it under my microscope inspection tools (why not?) and the gaps were phenomenally good, within 25um (micrometers) consistency. Can't ask for better than that.

Good little motor for your hobby project
My hubby is getting the hobby bug this summer and I know he got this motor for his drone. He's been very satisfied.
