Maybe writing this too early but these snails was live and well also started moving almost immediately only reason for the 4 star was like others I wasn't too happy with the packaging they came in a little sauce pot all rolling around, other than that would recommend

Alive and well.
I have received the pack with delay and I was concerned that the snails might be dead. They were alive and are well now, three months after purchase

Great!
Have had two lots of these now and both have survived transportation and have started moving around the tanks almost immediately after acclimatising.Fantastic algae eaters. Tank has never been cleaner!

Mixed feelings...
For starters, my snail, which is a living creature, was sent to me in an envelope inside a box, inside a plastic pouch with no moss and a tiny amount of water. It's not an ethical way for an animal to be shipped, and I'm surprised it survived with the warm weather today. The snail was about 1cm long, when it's supposed to be twice as long. Shell condition is good though. I don't think it's worth the cost, honestly. Also, misleading title. Nerite snails, along with every other type of aquatic snail, do NOT clean your aquarium! They eat algae and convert that algae into poop, so the algae doesn't really go anywhere. You will need to clean a tank more if you have a large amount of snails, so it's best to keep it a small number. They will make the algae go away but replace that algae with poop which pollutes the water unlike algae.EDIT:Thought I'd update my review to mention that the little snail I ordered is still alive and doing well!

Lively!
These are lively little things. I acclimatised them to my water over a couple of hours and before I got to release them one was already on his way out of captivity on his own. They have been in the tank for a few hours now and have probably already explored every inch!
