Phresh Filter 4 in x 8 in 150 CFM

This thing works like a dream, but the guys at the factory in China need to do a better job on this item cosmetically.I have this thing hooked up to a Soler & Palau TD-100X and it still blows like it did before i hooked up the filter. I was very worried about static pressure and I didn't want to run the fan on high speed.Pros:Very compact (4x8) and lightweight.Scrubs smells really wellHigh flow, very little resistanceTrusted brandCame with a pre filter and bands to hold it on.Not as dusty as I thought it was going to be. I vacuumed it and blew my fan through it before i sucked anything in and I didn't get the cloud of carbon dust that others got.Cons:Made in ChinaCame all boogered up. I understand that its aluminum and it marks easy, but this thing looked like it had been a fight or it was refurbished. This was very disappointing because this is one of the more pricey options. At the minimum i expect it to look new. The sticker that showed the packaged date was partially scratched off which is weird on a brand new item.Comes with clips with no instructions on how to use them. You can find info online but they should provide some sort of direction in the box or on the site as to how they work.The opening is larger than 4" so you can't really use a clamp, you have to tape them together or use some other method.The rivets attached to the inside screen and holding on the adapter were pretty sloppy and there was a slight gap between the inside screen and the adapter but it didn't create a real problem.Despite the shoddy craftsmanship it does what its supposed to. I just expect more expensive stuff to look better so it got docked a star.

two issues:Note that I purchased the 4x20 lo profile and then made the mistake by going to the 4x8 model.1) Even though the 4x20 is rated for 125 cfm and the 4x8 is rated at 150 cfm, I noticed a significant decline in air flow. The 4x8 (150cfm) seems to allow less airflow than the 4x20 (125cfm) :::::2) The flange on the 4x8 was significantly large which the 4 inch ducting that did fit the 4x20 would not fit the 4x8. It seemed to be an inch or half do big of an opening.Out of my return period and without the original box (as it was discarded to early by me, I did not anticipate these issues)I went to Phresh's web site, their contact method only contains an email form. I'm still waiting a week after two submissions. There's no phone number.My MacGyver side can try to make it fit but the less air flow has me defeated. I wasted 50 bucks !!

This filter lasted over 18 months of continuous use for me. There was a loss of are draw through it the longer I used it. Obviously

Definately works. I would buy again. Great product

Worth the price charcoal is all in place and don't come out from the filter.Just make sure before installing vacuum it and clean all loose charcoal particles after that no mess at all!

This cut all order out of a room of 180 sq. feet.

Light weight, very good air flow, very good quality, very effective.

Hate to see the product with just 1 review which I disagree with. Mine arrived in mint condition and does a great job. Just came to buy another one but the price is up 31% and I can't justify that. I will have a look at what else is available but this is an excellent filter.

Unfortunately I only just got around to trying this out after having it boxed for a while. Opened the box to find it bumped and bruised, in fact it looked used - with the carbon all over the inside of the box as if it had burst. Has zero impact on fumes or dust. Avoid.

Wow. This little filter is scrubbing the odor of 17(legal) cannabis plants. Worth every dollar.
