Inexpensive and good! Rextin 18650 batteries charged quickly in the included battery charger and are now powering LED flashlights without a hitch. The batteries contain statements printed on the battery's side reading, "Integrated Overcharge and Discharge Protection Circuits", meaning these batteries do contain protection circuitry built in.Reviewers casting aspersions and disparaging these batteries without having purchased them should realize that there's typically nothing wrong with non-name brand equipment aside from the fact that it is not produced by some huge mega-company with lots of advertising capital to spend. The claim printed on the batteries side is they can be recharged up to five hundred times.These Rextin batteries appear to be well made, the battery charger works fine and is solidly built, and the entire purchase went smoothly, thereby giving the buyer (me) a great deal of satisfaction in finding a good and reasonably priced source for 18650 batteries!By the way, despite anything written above, please listen to the other reviewers and do not buy any Rextin 18650 batteries, we do not want Rextin to raise their prices because they are selling more batteries and gaining in popularity! It is the law of supply and demand in action, so leave all the Rextin batteries for us to purchase at their great prices!

After purchasing a competitors product and totally failing; this Rextin product is a welcome change. Batteries charge as expected and the charger operates without a problem, charging to full capacity and leaving the charged batteries cool to the touch throughout the entire cycle. I purchased two and both operate the same, flawlessly. The charging LED indicator goes through three phases indicating initial red, then amber, then green. The price is awesome and the performance is equal. Highly recommended.Update 10/06/2018These batteries are still functioning extremely well whenever I need them. I use them in two separate Tactical Flashlight, Ploarnovo 6. One is in my car, the other in my home. After receiving an inquiry about the actual mah rating, I still don't know nor have I tried to find out simply because they work and work well. One thing I must admit is that I already had a charger. Nitecore Intellicharger i4. I must have received an excellent batch lot of batteries because a year later, no problems what-so-ever.

The Rextin Battery charger seems to work as should. After a couple recharges the battery spring holder in the charger stayed compressed. That left no tension to hold the battery in place. So when the battery wouldn't stay I put my finger on the spring to feel of it. I instantly burnt a round ring on my finger.So if you have a battery in the charger do not touch the inside parts of the charger. It is very hot with just one battery in the unit. And no it wasn't plugged in to the wall :-)

I fully charged these to 4.2 volts and put a 5 amp load on the battery. Within seconds the battery cut-out and I verified 0 volts with my DVM. I then placed them back in the charger to reset the cut-out and the batteries registered 4.2 volts.You may not need or want a protection circuit, but for the flashlights I use I would prefer to have one.

I recently bought these two batteries and charger to serve as backups for one of the popular LED flashlights that can use either 3 AAA or the 18650 battery. However, they work so well and hold a charge so long I ended up buying two more 18650 flashlights. My reasoning is that if I am going to store spare batteries, I might as well store them "ready to use" inside a flashlight! This is a great charger/battery package at a great price!

Batteries hold a charge and have plenty of power to run a XML-T6 LED flash light. Nice thing is that there are two batteries with this offering. one to put in the flash light and one to carry as a backup should you need to run the flash light for extended periods. The charger will charge both batteries together or individually. I like these batteries and charger and they exceeded my expectation considering some of the negative comments about these batteries and charger. I only have had a good experience.

This is the first time I've purchased from this company and to my surprise I was highly satisfied with the products I purchased. The quality is excellent and if the batteries stay charged as long as these do in a year from know I will be even more satisfied. This folks are selling good products at a very good price. I highly recommend the Rextin Folks and their products!

It works. Recharged 2 18650 batteries pretty quick. Light lets you know when charge is done. Batteries did not seem to get hot. Nice, cheap, little charger to have if you use 18650 batteries. I have a couple flashlights that use these batteries - man are they bright! I have a car DC converter that plugs into my cigarette lighter that has AC outlet. I can take this with me and use to recharge batteries as needed.Can't beat the price!
