Very pleased. Easy to use and works with the butane canisters used with my countertop butane stove I keep for power outages. Already going a bit nuts browning the tops of items for that delicious Maillard reaction

Does the job in spite of slight design flaws
Though the "kind of flame" (ie. Yellow/blue) is not as adjustable as advertised, the size of the seemingly fixed blue flame can easily be controlled. In contrast to smaller refillable culinary torches, this unit works very well as it emits a large and strong enough flame to efficiently torch/sear food without the risk of leaving a butane after-taste. Very portable and practical in its design which securely installs directly on affordable and standard butane refill/canisters available in most camping supply stores.

Oh, this is a pyro's dream!Just be careful! I had a few flare ups where the flame got suddenly extra high (but I think it's the gas canister)Overall this torch is awesome! I used it outdoors to torch some steaks.There's something super satisfying about pulling the trigger to light it.Be careful with it though and I recommend using this one outdoors.For roughly $10, definitely a great toy to have.
