Great leash
Excellent leash. We have a “Alpha” Jack/Shit that thinks his job is to protect the world. He is leash aggressive. This is probably the 15 th leash I have bought it is perfect. Soft enough to give a tug for training and sturdy. It is actually somewhat enjoyable to walk him.

I'm A Dog Walkin' Volunteer
I walk a ton of big, strong, pulling, stressed-out shelter dogs... this is the leash I recommend. I also like another company products as well... BUT I recently had one of my leashes almost fail me, as the ring lost its weld... THANKFULLY the flaw was caught on inspection before any dog pulled the ring apart. I promptly contacted the company and without blinking they refunded my purchase.

Not of all dogs
I own a dog daycare and we wanted leads with stoppers so we could walk dogs outside. This leash is kinda thick and not good for small dogs. Also, we had a dog chew threw one in less than 1 min. We do like them for the larger dogs but did not meet our total needs.

Too thick for training purposes
This doesn't work well as a slip lead because it is too thick. It doesn't hang loose between you and the dog so that you can communicate to the dog with subtle pulls on the leash. This might be a fine leash if you have a dog that pulls and you need a sturdy leash, but not much use for training or maintaining loose leash walking.

A little disappointed
I ordered this brand when I got my second dog thinking that I was saving money. After 3 months of use my dog broke free as my son was walking him. For 7 years I have used the Mendota brand on my 1st dog and it has not broken yet. I'm going to pay more for the one Mendota that last many years.

Great Leash!
Great leash! I was worried it was going to be stiff at 1/2” diameter but it has good flex along the length of it. My dog is about 35lbs so he isn’t huge but I would trust this leash to handle an extra large dog. My dog tries to run after squirrels as we walk and I’ve never felt like he could get loose. I’m glad I made the purchase!

Definitely Sturdy
I had a leash that was similar to this one, however the old leash was thin enough for my 6yr old Doxy Terrier to chew thru in less than 5 minutes. This leash, which was delivered in 2 days, is about 10x sturdier and very comfortable on your hands. We'll see if this old dog can cheew through this one. I doubt it!!!
