As I hit middle age, my hair has become, unfortunately, drier and feels like straw, so I decided to try Reshma Beauty’s Henna-Infused Oil for Thinning Hair as it’s also advertised for dry scalp.This Reshma Beauty’s oil blend contains basil oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, cedar wood oil and Henna extract. It has a strong woodsy, earthy fragrance which I attribute to the cedar wood oil. It’s not overwhelming though. I usually apply just a few drops to the ends of my hair after it’s washed and dried and the smell tends to disappear after a little while. Also, using a few drops leaves my hair shiny, without it looking greasy and without weighing it down. Once a week, I massage a small amount of oil into my scalp and the length of my hair and wash it away after 30 minutes. I’ve noticed that my hair is softer since I’ve started this routine with the oil.The label on the bottle represents the product as 100% natural, and according to the maker’s directions (also on the bottle), this oil can be used as a skin moisturizer too. However, I’m somewhat reluctant to use it that way since it contains “light liquid paraffin and fragrance” (as listed in the ingredients). Fragrance is a catch-all term for an undisclosed combination of chemicals. Liquid paraffin is a common ingredient in cosmetics and it scores low hazard in the EWG’s Skin Deep Cosmetics Database. But since both fragrance and paraffin are derived from petroleum, I try to avoid them or at least limit the use of petroleum-derived beauty products.As a hair product, I found Reshma Beauty’s Henna-Infused Oil to be very helpful at hydrating my hair. It leaves it soft, shinier and healthier looking. It gives me the results I was looking for.

This oil is amazing! The shine it adds to your hair is impeccable. It really does thicken hair and eliminate thinning .

Smells really bad I couldn't use it

Ingredients: basil oil, olive oil, jojoba oil, cedarwood oil, and Henna extract. Yet, the oil is colorless which makes me doubt the label, the honesty of the manufacturer, and at best the concentration of the oils if there was any. No oil would bring your hair back but decent oils can moisten your scalp and make your hair shine.

Goes on nicely - not too thick or too drippy. The smell is also okay and it not too strong.

Hard to find item, but works well.
