HP Original 65W Laptop Charger for HP Pavilion dv6 dv7 Series Notebook Power-Adapter-Cord

I was so glad when I plugged this power adapter in and my computer came back on, I thought my computer was finished. Thanks to my husband who recommended a new power adapter as the first thing to try. I was a little disappointed with the connection to the computer, the adapter needed the extra plug which was included, but it is awkward.

My original HP charger finally stopped working after 6 years of constant use. It had been dropped, stepped on many times, and never really handled with much care, but it lasted for a long time. I just ordered the replacement, and it arrived on time and works perfect. I will update my review if anything changes. As of now, I highly recommend staying away from cheap knockoff versions and just spend the little extra to get the name brand. Also, make sure the specs of the charger you're buying are the same as the one you're replacing. Otherwise, you may screw something up.

Works perfect and is exactly the same as the original that came with my laptop. I have a puppy that decided to chew through it is why I needed to replace the cord. It would be even better if you could purchase just the cord and not the charger too.

Product is working great over the last 2 months. I use as a secondary charging station while Zooming with Family at dining room table. Although photo is hard to see the charger and cables sit on table frame and I just pull down the plug cord when needed.

Some how, a person in the house managed to lose the power cord for the HP laptop.This one is currently working fine. I have charged the laptop several times, with no issues.

The laptop charger worked better than the original one. It charged my laptop quickly and did not heat up. My laptop also remained cool to the touch. It is an excellent product and I received it faster than expected.

It works as advertised, exactly the same as original.
